First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player and how did you get into Warcraft?:
Hellows people of Conquest of the Horde! (love that name!)
The name is Siperos, 22, and I started to play WoW since the Burning Crusade expansion and played WoW till the middle of WotLK before I quit. Then the Cataclysm came and I started to play it again since Blizzard finally added goblins to the game as a playable race. About frigging time... This time I started to role play to try something different and I have role played ever since. I played WoW till MoP but quit again and this time for good because I did't like the direction where the game was going mechanic wise; too easy and simple for the casual players and also the "RP" servers there are role playing servers only in name. Activision-Blizzard does't care about us role players. At all.
After quitting retail WoW I joined this private RP-server called "Prologue". It was very neat and interesting! That's what a real RP-server was supposed to be! I role played there as an orc first in the Frostwolf Clan themed guild and later in Dark Horde themed guild in Burning Steppes and Redridge Mountains. The best role playing I have ever had. But now the servers are down for a while. Then I heard from a friend of mine whom I met in Prologue about this server and wanted to try this out with him. But I'll be honest; I would still mostly role play in Prologue when it come back to air.
How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
I have heard about this server way earlier but finally my good friend whom I met in Prologue told me more about this place and I decided to try this out since Prologue was down.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
The races I like to role play mostly are orcs and goblins. Orcs' history and lore is very rich and interesting and role playing an orc is also more interesting and satisfying than role playing a boring human or elf. Goblins on the other hand are fun, crazy and they can be pretty much anything and role play with both the Alliance and Horde for being mostly neutral race and all that. And also because both of them has green skin. Everyone knows that green skinned people are cool and hawt!
The classes I like are rogue and warlock. Rogue because they are cool and mysterious. Warlocks for the same reason but also because I was good in pvp with warlocks in WotLK. I suck at pvp as a melee. Not like I would want to pvp in a role playing server since I don't consider that as role play.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
And the type of role play I like? Well, I do like relaxing social role play, like drinking in a tavern, being healed by a healer, feasting in a part etc. but also conflict and adventure role play. In the Dark Horde themed guild we invaded Lakeshire and that was awesome! I also like traveling. Like once I traveled all the way from Silvermoon to Booty Bay and from there to Ratchet and Gadgetzan. It was great experience. I don't like conflict role play such as Horce vs Alliance if there is players on both side since that will most likely end up in OOC drama and conflict so I want to avoid that. Unless I know the leader of the Alliance players and trust him. Which is not usually the case I'm afraid...
Also, I don't really like too big groups too much because then there may be too much /s' and emotes making it hard to keep in track of the role play I'm involved in myself. I can also enjoy role playing just with one good role player.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Out of all the rules I read respect, maturity and the reminder of how you are not your own character are the most important ones out of the rest in my opinion. Many people tends to forget that. I personally never mess IC and OOC business together. If I happen to role play with someone I dislike OOCly I still remain professional and role play my character as he/she would most likely act in front of the other character in front of me.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
A story? Oh damn... I'm bad at telling stories like this... But I was planning to roll a female goblin archaeologist and treasure hunter who travels across Azeroth to explore and hunt ancient treasures, fossils, artifacts, scrolls, secrets, anything worth of value to organizations such as Reliquary and Explorer's League and sell them to pay off the costs of her next adventure. She does this job mostly for the thrills and adventure rather than profit.
*A goblin lady wearing a jungle hat is drinking her cocktail in the tavern of Gadgetzan, the capital of Steamwheedle Cartel.* "Well, that was an interesting trip in those Zul'Farrak troll city ruins. Luckily I managed to get away from those nasty trolls and mummies. At least I got these ancient sand totems and this trinket from that huge statue. This should be enough to pay off the next trip to Dire Maul. But... I do need an assistant, or bodyguard to be precise, since it's full of ogres last time I heard." *She finishes her cocktail and puts a few silver coins on the counter. She walks out of the tavern and instantly feels the heat of Tanaris desert. She covers her face with her adventurer's jungle hat to protect her eyes from the shiny sun. A smirk can be seen on her face as she says:* "Now then... Time to go find another partner for a treasure hunting trip to Dire Maul!"
What are your expectations of this server?:
There you go! What I expect from this server is mature and smart role players to role play every once in a while who are open minded and not "elitists". Again, I'm going to role play mostly in Prologue since I'm even going to lead a guild there with another player there but if this server seems nice and the people are fun to be with I will come back here more often than intended.
