First of all: Hi and welcomme to my introduction!
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
My favourite games are rpgs. Since ever. I really enjoy games like Skyrim (Which I still play today), Gothic (played all parts), Dragonage (yeh I know the 2nd one isn't as good as the first part but I like it) and The Witcher (2). I started roleplaying in WoW a bit more than 2 years ago, and found friends pretty fast, and now we are changing to this server and hope we'll get accepted
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I'm from Germany, so my primary language is german. I had english class for more than 8 years now, and since I'm doing roleplays in english my grade gut much better :P
How did you get into Warcraft?:
The first time I played WoW is about 6 years ago, my older brother showed it to me.
How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
I was searching for a new server to stay on, and a friend mentioned this server and I decided to join.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I enjoy every kind of roleplay, but it depends on my mood. Still, village or kingdom rps are always nice, cause one of my favourite roles is the innkeeper, I just love taking care of customers, showing people their rooms, spreading some rumors or news... etc
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Depends on the gender. And the role I want to choose with the character. For a innkeeper I would take a male human or dwarf, they just look friendly and trustworthy and dwarfs have the best beer, so yeah, probably the dwarf. Or the human. Can't decide, sorry >.<
What are your expectations of this server?:
I expect a friendly, active community, with experienced roleplayers, who at least know what ooc and ic means.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Probably the "Humility" rule. In a rp, I'm more the support guy, who helps to develope the story, only a few times it's different. When the rp ends, I want the people to say "that rp was awesome.". That's the thing I try to achieve, whenever possible.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
This is a story I already posted in a different forum for a different server, but I hope you don't mind
It was clear to me as I first saw them.
The royal army of Stormwind. Marching together into the battle, for honor and glory. A few years later, I was old enough to join them. I worked hard and earned the respect of the soldiers. Then, the day of my first battle came.
In a small valley called the Warsong gulch, we fought against an army of the horde. Never have I been so proud and sad at the same time. I was proud to fight for justice, but I was sad because I saw soldiers die who used to be my friends, with who I just talked a few hours ago when everything seemed to be so peaceful.
Maybe that's the reason why I'm here now. I retired from the army after long years of pain, mental and physical pain. I now own a small inn in a village called Thelsamar. Sometimes I see young men here in my inn, laughing and talking about going to the army of Stormwind, not knowing what they will experience. But when I think back, there is nothing I would want to change.
Still, if something would happen here, I would pick up my sword again and fight.
Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
I just hope the players here are as awesome as I hope they are, but I'm pretty optimistic ;D
