How many places can one get an enchantment?

Now, I know of course that armor can be enchanted, as well as weapons. However, I'm wondering if an Undead could perhaps enchant their skin or hair? This would remove the problem with the skin falling off or hair falling out and make it a bit more plausible. Still, is it doable?

I would like to think skin falling off and hair falling out would not be much of a problem because of the magic that keeps them together. It probably also depends on how good the Undead is taking care of themselves. If they care for their looks, they go for "repairs" and visit the embalmer every so often. If not, I imagine they'll get maggots, or other insects, and look more of the dead part. Pretty gross, huh?
And I think there could be potions to grow hair back. I always imagined barbers in WoW had those sort of things to help out extending hair.

You have a good point, Alliicce, but it's not what I'm looking for. I'm asking if it's thought to be possible for one to enchant their skin or hair.

It says nothing about enchanting body parts or anything that's attached to a living being. So I would assume that it's only possible to enchant items that a person can wear. Despite that, you can always say an item that you enchanted helps those things from falling out.

Enchanting is EXPENSIVE, in-game and lore-wise.

Skin is more likely because of things like runic (or arcane in general) tattoos. Hair would be a bit of a stretch in my opinion.

Enchanting and runes are different things anyway.

I'd generally say that a living thing can't be enchanted like an object can be. It kind of defeats the purpose of what enchanting actually is: a way to magic magical objects. There are other ways for undead to stave off rot that are less controversial.

I knew a guy in DnD that had eight rings on him. In DnD, you can only wear two, one on each finger, so he got creative. I'm not about to explain where all of those rings are...

Going with the tattoo thing, that's what the occultist class in a MUD used to do to get their powers. Or I think it was universal, it's been a really long time.

So you could probably do something like that?
