LF Teachers, Pupils, and Peers!

Admit it, you clicked on the spoiler, didn’t you?

So, I am looking for some relationships for my characters, the kinds focused on their particular classes or positions. I enjoy playing students, but I seldom play teachers. I have enough confidence to play mentors of a more occupational or scholarly type rather than just interpersonal (which I tend to play far more often xD). As for regarding peers, I’m looking for more than just friends and buddies, but ones with similar occupational/class/life goals; a pre-existing history can also be worked out. So here is a basic rundown of what kinds of teacher-student-peer relationships I hope to have.

For those not fully familiar with my characters, feel free to look up their wikis, but do note that almost all of them are outdated (some don’t even acknowledge class changes). Those with up-to-date profiles will be otherwise linked.

LF TEACHERS/MENTORS FOR:

Kantado—for learning how to heal as a Druid of the Claw. Although Claw druids are moreso known for their damage input or soaking, both IC and in the regular game, there is nothing that can stop them from learning how to heal effectively (just not with the same specialization seen in Druids of the Grove). Kantado can’t handle death very well, so just the thought of his friends and loved ones being injured can really make him distraught. Hopefully this mentor would not only teach him how to heal, but how to accept death as a natural part of the circle of life.

Kapre—the Arcane in general. For those who aren’t in the know, I changed Kapre’s class from a spiritwalker to a mage due to several reasons, but because mages are the class I am weakest in lore and gameplay, I seldom RP out that element of the character. I do know a few of the basics, but RPing out the knowledge and such is often an uphill battle for me. So far, Kapre’s fluency lies only in enchanting gems and producing portals; his blinking is faulty, slow falls tend to almost kill him, and he can’t turn invisible to save his life. In addition, I don’t know what other schools he’d follow besides Enchantment, so hopefully this mentor can direct him to a certain way. I do have an end goal with Kapre, though: I’d like him to specialize in conjuration, illusions, and pyromancy.

Diwaata—Draenei priesthood. She’s got the spells and the Virtues, but her behavior and temperament is unbecoming of a draenei, especially a priestess. She is in no way in a position to be a proper Anchorite, especially given her youth. I’m currently working on her new profile to reflect her character changes, but I am considering having her have some experience in the Auchindoun prior to the Dark Portal. We’ll see.

Kitson—Church of the Holy Light priesthood. Similar to Diwaata except Kitson is a novice priest through-and-through. He had a very nasty breakup with his girlfriend not long ago, and it’s a relationship he’s rather ashamed to be in (as in “this is not what a priest should be doing” ashamed). Due to his blindness, Kitson is delayed in learning the required skills of being a priest at his age despite living in the church his whole life, so whoever plays Kitson’s mentor should ideally have the patience to work with someone who doesn’t even know what Light “looks” like.

Rets’nis—Demonology, curses, and how to be a proper orc. For goodness sakes, he’s 28 years old and hasn’t had his om’riggor! Rets lived in the Outland wilderness almost his whole life, as he was a kid when the Dark Portal tore Draenor apart. As much as having a mentor teach Rets how to get away from warlockery would be interesting, I already converted my other warlock orc (Mahen’tosh, now a shaman). I’d rather Rets stay a warlock, as the warlock class fits the character best... unless he—dare I say it—becomes a mage :||||||||||

LF STUDENTS:

Mahen’tosh—Shamanism/Om’riggor preparation. Although he returned to shamanism recently, he was a shaman longer than he was a warlock. Mahen is deeply rooted into pre-Dark Portal orcish history and cultural traditions, and he sees every young orc as a potential figurative grandchild. Whoever becomes Mahen’s student can either be a young orc getting ready for his/her om’riggor, or is a budding shaman of any race. Either/both works!

Urameil—Warlockery in general. Actually, Urameil is a HORRIBLE teacher in that he actually encourages irresponsible usage of the fel. This is mostly done because Urameil wants to see how soon the student will succumb completely to corruption (and simply because he’s a dick). Anyone who becomes Urameil’s student probably shouldn’t consider being too serious about it xD.

Gunther—The Light in general. Although Shadow has a stronger association with Gunther, Gunther is learning how to control his powers with the Shadow (though he no longer needs a teacher). Meanwhile, he is more than capable to preach the Light to any wayward soul, especially novice priests or paladin squires who need additional religious guidance. Player characters don’t have to be a priest or even a paladin to be Gunther’s pupil.

LF PEERS FOR:

Stefano—Argent Crusaders, Lordaeron paladins, and ex-Scarlet Crusaders. Stefano is deeply rooted into Lordaeron history and the history of the Crusade, but RPing that element out is a bit difficult as long as I don’t have a story to go by. I’m especially hopeful for Argents whom he’s been a friend with since he joined the Argent Dawn, and ex-Scarlets can make for interesting RP.

Diwaata—Fellow draenei priests in training. Anyone with a personal history with the Auchindoun before the Dark Portal works too.

Mahen’tosh—Other elderly shamans! Orcs preferably, but taurens and trolls work too! He’s also very willing and happy to be buddies with draenei shamans. As for dwarves........

Jami—Adventuring mages and scholars! Any scholar-adventurer of any kind will do—history and archaeology, arcane schools, culture, it’s all good! Jami is staunchly neutral too, so any/all races apply.

Elsamina—SI:7 and other human nobles. Of my human nobles, Elsamina was born into nobility, and I am hopeful she would have connections with others. As an SI:7, I just hope to establish a relationship within Stormwind Intelligence, be it professional or friendly.

Takers:
  • Polina (@Stealthscout)
  • Valda (@Ural)

Kogan—Stormwind Guard and any Stormwind paladin. Self-explanatory!

Kitson—Priest novices!

Polore--former Shattered Sun Offensive/Aldor and Ebon Blade Knights!

Takers:
  • Ydir (@FlyingSquirrel)

Rene—Okay, this needs a more elaborate explanation. Rene is a con man/thief/criminal masquerading as a normal everyday guy, usually as a student doctor or medicine maker. Peers would most likely work with Rene to make some schemes.

I do not recommend waiting around for me ingame, as I have a lot of characters and I may not hop on as the one you seek. You can reply here, PM me, or contact me on Skype (imagenashyun). The same goes for starting RP.
