Since my sister has decided that she is better than me at Unreal, one of my family's classics (we grew up playing Unreal Tournament and 2004) she's got me playing again. Since she still plays on the lowest bot setting and I can, with luck, win on the highest, she's gonna have me wiping the floor with her.

Anyone else play this? I'd love to play with some real players rather than those cheating bots.

I grabbed the unreal deal pack on sale a while back. I'll have to see how 3 runs on my laptop, but otherwise once I have them installed I'd be up for some competition.

For all y'all that don't own it, the Unreal pack is about ~$10 on Steam. That includes the original Unreal, Unreal Tournament, that one sequel of Unreal we don't talk about, and 2004.

The only unreal pack I can find on Steam is 39 euros, so it's pretty expensive.

Also, am I the only one who sort of liked Unreal Tournament 3? I mean, anything with hoverboards can't be bad, right?

It was... good. I suppose.

The Unreal storyline, besides Unreal 1, has never been anything to brag about, so I won't comment on that. But everything felt a bit Gears of Wars-ey.

In 2004, you had Egyptians, bull shark testosterone junkies, goths, Mad Max raiders, military people with style, the Skaarj, the Gen'mo'kai and Xan Kriegor.

In UT3, you had Kraal and humans. And humans with black eyeliner.

All of the textures in UT3 felt... gunmetal gray and brown. Besides the Shock Rifle and Bio Rifle, there weren't any colors, really.

However, UT3 is better in terms of vehicles. I LOVE the Necris vehicles, so badass.
