As some of you may've gleaned from my shiny new guild post over in the guilds forum, I'm starting a new guild specifically themed at Nelf RP and the Nelf side of the world. As you may've also read, I'm unlike to be able to do it on my own...
Currently, I'm still looking for people to help me run the guild cross-timezone. This means that I'm looking for people from a US and an Aus timezone (I'm not picky as to state which one exactly) as well as one extra person besides me from the EU. As you can imagine, you will have to have an interest in RPing a Night Elf even if you believe you're no good at it (I'm sure I can give pointers where it's needed). Another important feature would have to be activity. As co-leader of the guild I would require occasional activity, even if it's just a quick RP once a week. Spread the Nelf love and all that!
Secondly, I'm also looking for officers for the guild. As an Elite of the guild, your job is to lead your subordinates in battle. Either on the field or simply giving orders from afar. What this means from an OOC perspective is that you'll be in charge of creating and (unless you can find someone else to do it) DMing mini-events for the ranks below you. Because of previous RP, ex-members of the Ashwatch Vigil would have a very good reason for being promoted to Elite since Franziska would have a general knowledge of their abilities.
If you were a member of the AV and you would like to join but you have no experience at DMing, you can always join as a Commander who are simply the field-officers of the guild. These ranks have no real OOC duties (unless they themselves would like to keep files on the soldiers under their command) but they are, of course, allowed to try their hand at mini-events which could get them noticed by the higher ranking members and which could earn them a promotion should they choose to.
As you can probably learn from the guild post, all of these ranks are open to Night Elves only. While non-Nelves aren't outright shunned from the guild, they cannot attain any high ranks within the guild except for that of leader of other outsiders.
I hope to hear from at least some of you so we can get this guild off the ground and into some sweet, sweet RP.
