Neuro's introduction.

First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:

While playing or reading, I always like to identify myself with characters from the stories, try to imagine world they live in, thoughts they would have. I cannot play a computer game without somehow connecting to the main character. If I don't, I do not enjoy the game. One day I was playing on a normal World of Warcraft server and got invited by a nice roleplaying guild. They were friendly people and did not care about grinding levels for hours, didn't say it's strange that I like to take my time and read the quests before doing them. It was amazing to find out that there are other people who prefer to enjoy the game this way. I made a thief Night Elf who was always in trouble and loved every hour of roleplaying her. Though I was new to roleplaying, I felt like I was always doing it before joining that guild, just not sharing it with people. I could spend hours just listening to stories of others, involving myself in adventures and occasionally trying to rob somebody (which usually ended bad for my character). I truly, truly loved it and miss these times. That's why I am here.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:

I come from Poland, so my main lanugague is Polish. Was always surrounded by English language in games/movies, learning it was a pleasure. Yet, I still have much to learn. While roleplaying, I always keep thesaurus and dictionary open and try to use as proper grammar as possible. Because of it after a break I can be a bit slower than other roleplayers (when my imagination goes wild or I just have to make sure I write the right way). This is actually one of the many reasons I want to join this server - to improve my English, see how creative can people be with this language, be inspired by them.
If I do any mistakes I apologize for that and try to correct myself.

How did you get into Warcraft?:

I always wanted to try World of Warcraft, remember watching screenshoots in colorful magazines but eventually forgot about it, gave up (my old PC was not quite able to run it). Until the day when a friend brought a CD and invited me to play with him.

What made you seek our server over others?:

After roleplaying on normal server I made a long break and decided to try once again, this time on a new server - roleplaying one. I tried some other servers before, but it was not quite what I was looking for.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:

I am a kind of person who is open for everything.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:

I don't have favorite race. Every race has something unique and fascinating. Cannot pick one even if I wanted to. But I do have favorite class - it's a rogue. Since always this class was my obsession. Something about being sneaky/hiding in the shadows/wielding poison coated dagger in your hand is just speaking to me.

What are your expectations of this server?:

It never stops surprising me what people can create. I hope this time it will be no different. I love hearing stories and I wish that people will share them with me. Or - let me be a part of their story.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:

I am sorry - have problems with picking just one. Tolerance and Respect are sounding really nice. That's something I was looking for. Also, love the fact that public channels have to be in character.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:

Monotonous sounds of the sea filled his ears accompanied by arrogant seagull. He was smelling of cheapest perfumes, sleeping in the cheapest bed in the cheapest tavern in the whole Booty Bay. Memories slowly started appearing in his mind like pieces of a broken rum bottle. He noticed in disgust that his sweaty shirt was sticking to his chest.
Thought to himself: "Freaking Booty Bay. I remember. A game. Yesterday I played a game." And then his mind came back to memories from yesterday.

After "Motley Roach" sailed to Booty Bay, he couldn't be more happy. All the sailors earned a decent payment and this was first time he got his money. Also, first day he could spend outside the ship in half a year.
So he did what any young sailor would - went to the first cheap inn with the tavern, ordered strange sounding drink from a fishy looking goblin and decided to have fun. The taste of freedom was pleasant, yet a bit rusty and watery. Because of it he quickly began to gamble with the first person he met - a female Night Elf. She seemed to be an adventurer, wearing leather armor and carrying swords. Some leaves from the jungle were stuck in her long violet hair. Was rather quiet, making jokes from time to time. A mysterious smile showed on her face as she shared a drink with him.
"I drink only rum" she announced. Rum was tasting cheap and watery, like everything in this tavern, but he was not complaining. It was his lucky night. The Night Elf was losing to him almost every time she rolled the dice. The more she was losing, the higher were the bets.
"Gambling is like a quagmire. The more you struggle, the quicker you're drowning." he said, as he realised he's going to double the amount of money he got from the captain.
She bit her lip in anger. Something strange showed in her eyes. Something he would worry about if he was less drunk. But drinks kept his worries away, appearing on the table and some of them were bought by elf.
"What a friendly lady!" he thought looking at the violet-haired adventurer. Until he won the last bet. For a moment she looked like she would draw out one of her swords and cut his head off. But she quickly controlled herself.
"Well, it was not my night..." she smiled and got up to leave.
The wooden tavern walls around him slowly started to become a bit shaky. Just one more mug of the rum. After some time goblins faces seemed all the same, he couldn't tell female from the male. His last clear thought was he should order a room before it's too late and hide all the money. His last memory was going to his room and hiding the money in chest near the bed. Barely able to stand, he closed the window, because he hated seagull sounds.

And now it's morning. And he can hear these damn seagulls. Why? Oh... the window is open. Maybe inkeeper opened it. With terrible headache he rose from bed and looked at the chest. He smiled.
"I woke up alone but at least I have you..." he said out loud as he opened the chest. It was almost empty.
Almost, because a string of violet hair remained inside.

Did you know that we have a Mentor Program? It's entirely voluntary and you as a new player can sign up for it right now in your introduction! Are you interested in signing up to be assigned a Mentor? If so, say so here (Please enter at least "Yes" or "No"):

No, thank you. But that's very nice of this server to have such program.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
Have a good day, thank you for reading the stuff I wrote.
