Introduction!
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
I'm an experienced gamer and roleplayer who has spent FAR too much time hanging around online. Really, just too much. I like to think I'm pretty good at the RP at least, and with a minimum of drama, which is a plus.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I'm Australian, and an English speaker.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
Through previous games, mostly. I was more than a little pumped for WoW after playing Warcraft two and three when I was younger.

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
Mostly, a dear friend of mine you all know as Rosencrat! That, and a sudden urge to return to one of my earlier experiences roleplaying, and to do so without breaking the bank.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
All kinds. From simple character interactions to more complex, plot based play. I do indulge in the more risqué of stories, but it's hardly all I do! Really, I'll try anything once. Or twice.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Separately, that would be Human and Priest respectively. Why? Well, I've always loved the whole... Semi-doomed nature of the poor Warcraft Humans, and as for the Priests, well...
I like mind control, OK?

What are your expectations of this server?:
Fingers crossed, I'm looking for some good roleplay and a few laughs! Failing that, the laughs will be enough.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Maturity. That's always been a requirement for me with Roleplay. People really should be able to separate themselves from their characters, and act in a respectful way OOC. Drama is fine IC, but when two typists are screaming at one another via their keyboards, something has gone wrong.

Did you know that we have a Mentor Program? It's entirely voluntary and you as a new player can sign up for it right now in your introduction! Are you interested in signing up to be assigned a Mentor? If so, say so here (Please enter at least "Yes" or "No"):
For now, I'll say 'No', and see how long I last out on my own! Worth a shot, right?

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:

Aderis fell back into the welcoming cradle of the old , formerly plush couch with a thump, a cloud of dust and other detritus bursting out about her leather swaddled form. The Elf made a face, and did her best to get comfortable as her contact kept her waiting, the Dwarf having left their little meeting waiting for the better part of an hour.

And he said he was a professional. Typical.

Mood souring by the minute, she forced herself to relax, for although the derelict old farmhouse was in one of the less pleasant parts of the blighted outskirts of old Lordaeron, she had already spent most of that hour clearing out any stray undead or corrupted animals, one of her many knives currently leaking fouled bodily fluids onto the tilted table before her, it's missing leg helping the poor piece of furniture fit in.

When the Dwarf finally showed up, the Elf was almost asleep, jerking awake as he noisily stomped in, wearing more metal than was strictly necessary for a covert meeting.

"You're late."
"And you're too skinny. I'm here, ain't I?"

With a huff, Aderis lifted herself back to a sitting position, and retrieved her knife. The Dwarf made his way over, and with little ceremony, planted the package of documents before her. His hand followed, outstretched and open. She sighed, and gave him his payment, enough Gold to replace every clinking ring he was wearing and then some.

And all it cost him was a few poor Alliance towns out on the fringes.

Wonderful what you can do with a little information.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
Just a please and thank you!

Hope to be enjoying some RP with you all soon!

Throm'ka, potential recruit!

You have taken a tremendous step with this submission! You will receive an 'official' response in due time, but meanwhile you may wish to ensure you've reviewed the following:
  • Rules (Remember, ignorance is no excuse in the case of rule-breaking! Don't make the Peon Overseers lash you with the whip any more than necessary!)
  • Policies (There are some policies that may be rather uncommon, so if you have not yet checked them then spare a moment to do so!)

Some extra reading that may be of use:
Soon, you should receive a reply to your submission from one of the Peon Overseers informing you of whether you are a suitable candidate for Peonship. Be patient! Just review the above information and a response will come before you know it! As an aside, I think Peon VoxServetium has an... er... 'interesting' ring to it, eh?

Thank you so much! Looking forward to having some fun with you all!

I feel somehow... Patriotic! As if those insane Australian gifs have forces something warm to swell in my breast!

G'DAY!
