First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:

Hello, I enjoy to RP and was once a big rper on websites like mobamingle, couldn’t afford my own PC nor knew of WoW, before it shutted down. Ever since I joined WoW private servers I searched for a decent RP server and was proud to found this server in which I can see where RP can truly be founded. I will try my best to abide by all rules as a true RPer I'm still a noob in the history of Azeroth but fansinated by it, with that said it will be hard to create a character that would not be attached to main characters which I adore but I will abide by the rules even how hard it is, if I fail u may arrest (ban) me. Forgive me if I don’t give a good introduction cause it been over a year or two that I actually truly RPed so im a bit nervous of not being welcomed and would be pleased if I could join.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:

I live in South Afrikaans my primary (home) language is Afrikaans but I personally enjoy English more.

How did you get into War craft?:

I firstly started on my mobile phone on websites like mobamingle with an avatar and text RPing and later played at my cousins’ and found I enjoy playing WoW even solo and leveling up, but what caught me was the Roleplay realm section and since then I wondered and searched for a RP Server.

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:

I was bored of PVP servers and PVE was fun but lonely without friends when there is no RPing. So I googled for a server and found the website on the first page. At first I thought it was just The server that’s RP not players but reading the forum and seeing the announcements I was captivated by the dedication to RP in this server.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:

First thing came to my mind reading the question was… WHAT? I cant say, honestly, but I'm still a noob in WoW RP, so please excuse my faults it be my first time ^.^. I enjoy being anything but myself… how do I say this… I'm more of a peace lover and have no real experience in Game RPing like WoW.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:

Worgen, I have no real knowledge over the worgens but know that worgens are lost druid like race, lost ancient race. It also explained why humans had talent for magic when the high elves taught them magic.

What are your expectations of this server?:

To RP with others that can be friendly or mean, via RP, and create a world to escape from the hardships of reality, or at least relieve yourself from tension in a unharmed way.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:

“All players on this server are expected to be familiar with the history of Azeroth” and “We don't need characters from other dimensions, worlds, etc. or characters that are out of place and make no sense with the current, established lore.” These two quotes is what attracted my full attention because all I truly seek is to RP.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we

Once there was a human boy who had two loving parents, the family name was Flamebourne and the boy’s name was Sumith. Sumith had two friends, Sill Dreadbeard the dwarf, Illiana Starnight the Night elf, the three of them was and best of friends. Illiana was the daughter of a Night elf Elder, Sill was the son of the dwarwen Lieutenant of Ironforge, but Sumith was the son of two normal human refugees from Gilnea’s attack.
As years passed they grew as well their friendship and feelings for each other, Illiana loved Sumith but did not ever confessed her feelings to as she feared it would ruin their friendship, but she did not know that Sumith felt the same but she being the daughter of an Elder and him being a refugee’s son he didn’t say nor show his affection for he had a loyal and honorable kind heart that even the Elderly Night elves were fond of.
On the night of Sumith 16th birthday when the moon was at its fullest and brightest he had a dream, no nightmare of the nature and animals attacking him for unkown reason, as he slept he shifted in his sleep, kicking, turning and groaning, his body start to change, fur came from his body as his body and bones cracked and shift changing into a more like wolf form. The groaning sounds awoke his parents and in worry hurried to his room, only to found a wild bloodthirsty worgen glaring at them as they open his bedroom door and in Sumith sleep unknowingly slaughtered his own parents and ran out and straight to the wild to where his instincts lead him.
The following day Neighborly night elf reported the incident of a beast killed the human refugees, as the news reached Liliana and Sill they ran to the house to confirm the report, in horror they saw it was true but what they could not found Sumith’s body. On the same day the worgen leader came to the village to seek lost worgens, he first went to the Night elf Elders in his human form to explain and deliver Darnassus confirmation letter of the worgen race…

Also, if you don't mind, could you give your introduction a quick punctuation and spelling check? While we don't expect you to have perfect sentence structure or grammar since you're ESL, we expect you to fully spell out words and use punctuation. Such as changing u to you and im to I'm.

While not mandatory, I highly recommend signing up for a mentor since they're great veteran members of the server that can help you discover who you are as a RPer and help you brush up on your RPing skills.

Hello huntertdx, and welcome to COTH!

If you haven’t already, please do make sure to double-check the rules and policies so you’re for sure familiar to the server’s expectations! If you have further questions, I recommend giving this guide a read, as it contains a lot of helpful information for players who are new to the server. Also, if you haven’t already, make sure to register your in-game account in the Account Management page using the same information you registered your forum name under. As for downloading the correct client and other things that you need to do in order to connect, I recommend giving this a read, as I found it very helpful myself when we made the switch to Cataclysm.

As for making your first character, there are a lot of helpful articles and guides for you to read up on in case you don’t fully understand the lore. The wiki also contains helpful tips for making a character and for when you’re writing your first profile, such as scale and height.

When you get your account created, make sure to /join Chat and /join Barrens in-game for if you have any questions not answered in the forums. Additionally, if you have skype and want to connect to the community there, we have an official skype group. For more information, read this thread. Interestingly enough, you're one of the many new members who hails from South Africa and speaks Afrikaans as your primary language. Is it all just a coincidence or are we seeing a group of friends joining us? Whatever the answer is, it's good to have more people from that side of the globe on the server, since timezone diversity is nice to have.
