Of course, the whole Korra fiasco has been something of a depressing mess. It feels like Nickelodeon just wants to get it over with as fast as they can so they can focus on important things like Spongebob re-runs o_e

Maybe once this is over, the Avatar creators can find a network that appreciates them and treats them well. Cartoon Network/Toonami, perhaps.

This is literally what they're doing.

Season 1 of Korra performed way higher than anybody's expectations and when the series was renewed for a total of 62 episodes, Nick first hoped it would be their new flagship series instead of Spongebob, but when ratings dwindled in the following two seasons they quickly changed their minds.

Here's the thing though, Korra doesn't really fit in with the rest of Nick's programming and the vast majority of people who watch Korra watch nothing else on Nick. The show is also pretty much only aired in a single country and most of its fanbase is on the internet. Ratings also don't account for people who DVR their favorite shows.

Frankly, the ratings system is broken and there's still a lot of profit to be made in Korra in the form of merch and DVD boxes if the show were to continue.

At the same time I don't want them to milk it too hard.

The game is officially out on Steam and Playstation consoles. It's out for Xbox consoles tomorrow.

I've played it a couple of hours today and can say it's an alright game. At first it had me worried because it smelled too much of license game. Then they gave you control of Korra and everything just clicked.

The limited budget and time frame shows, but like every other Platinum Games title, it's solid where it matters--in gameplay.

I got it for PC and despite there only being two graphical quality options, them bein "smooth" or "normal", the game was running surprisingly well.

At this point I'm sure Platinum can't make a bad game.

Oh, if anybody is wondering about the secret codes the game keeps talking about, I know two of them. The item can be unlocked if you click right, right, left, left, light attack in the shop. It's possible I mixed it up, so if it doesn't work then try to change left with right and vice versa. In Korra's room, if you highlight the first costume to the left of default Korra and press up, up, down, down, light attack you'll unlock spirit Korra, the way she locked when she was giant and fought Vaatu. Nobody seems to know the code for the Chi Blocker costume.

I'll join the fanclub in December when I have time to start watching Korra (For the first time) from Season 1 Episode 1 through to the last! Avatar: The Last Airbender got quite a grab on my attention, so I'm dying reading about all this excitement.

The pro-bending mode is pretty fun. I lament its lack of multiplayer.
