Tavern Help Wanted

Posters have begun to clutter the main posting boards in the major cities.
Beyond the boards, they have also been tacked onto boards and walls outside of local drinking halls and flophouses.

They have also been tacked onto the local drunks and flops with only minimal harm to their skulls.





What Is Needed

The Booty Bay Social Club is currently looking for dedicated, active and involved role-players to fill main officer positions within the new tavern.

Players who are interested should be relatively active on the server for long periods of time, have a background or interest in tavern-style role-play and some experience in event planning and organization.

All races and classes are welcome. The club is an equal-opportunity swindler.

Players who are interested should be willing to initiate and sustain casual and semi-casual role-play in a neutral setting and be able to role-play regularly or semi-regularly throughout the week and weekend. Service to the tavern will also include engaging in the business' storylines and helping initiate other players into the open role-play.

There are currently three positions open, with more to follow if need demands it:

Head Bartender

• Provides refreshments, ranging from alcohol to food, to patrons.
  
• Must socialize with patrons. Keep up conversations and be, as the cliche goes, 'the bartender with the sympathetic ear.'
  
• Be creative. Offer unique, often volatile cocktails and beverages for variety of humorous effects.
  
• Engage with role-players who are not otherwise currently in RP. Draw them in and make the experience inclusive.
  
• Assisted in events and distractions as you are needed.
  

Head Bouncer

• Keeps the peace, using violent and non-violent means to ensure order and atmosphere remain intact.
  
• Be imposing or otherwise have a means of intimidation.
  
• Function is a guard, and in the event of fights break them up while Booty Bay Bruisers are fetched.
  
• Assisted in events and distractions as you are needed.

Head Host

• Ensures that all patrons are enjoying themselves, and that their needs are met quickly and efficiently.
  
• Helps to keep role-play flowing. An out-going and boisterous individual, they are not afraid to walk up to lonely RPers and draw them in.
  
• Be capable, when there is a lul, to strike up a mini-event or other distract to entertain.
  
• Assisted in events and distractions as you are needed.
  

More information for each position will be included during personal, one-on-one interviews, which are done first out-of-character before in-character.
