My Introduction
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
Hi, my name is Matt. Before I look for a roleplaying server, I was a retired World of Warcraft player of a private server. I joined when it was a Wrath of The Lich King server, the server was later updated to Cataclysm. I stopped playing after the server closed down. It has been two years since the last time I play World of Warcraft. My favorite affiliation is the Argent Crusade and the Non-player character that I like the most is Tirion Fordring. While enjoying the quests and world exploration, I am also a hardcore PVP player. After I quit playing, I continue to catch up with the lore until now. I have all the World of Warcraft novels except War Crimes, it is not yet available in my country. Besides that, I also actively visit Battlenet forums and Wowpedia to get the latest lore information. I have also followed a YouTube channel called Nobble87, which is a lore videos channel.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I am a Malaysian born Chinese. I speak Cantonese with my family and English with my friends. My primary writing language is English.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
Warcraft III. I love the Rexxar campaign-- The Founding of Durotar. Also from there I start to read a lot of lore.

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
I am a huge fan of the Cataclysm expansion because of the novel Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects. I love the Mount Hyjal in Cataclysm. Since I quit the game two years ago, I was always thinking that I want to revisit the game again just to explore the world and lore. I am no longer interested in heavy PVP and PVE so I decided to look for a Role-playing server. Then I searched for "WoW private rp server" on Google, the first result is "Conquest of the Horde".

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I enjoyed exploration and long quest lines a lot ever since I started playing this game, Although the last server I joined is not a Roleplaying server but I considered myself a veteran of the Argent Crusade. I picked up the daily quests everyday and fight off the force of Lich King and I continue to do so even after the server was updated to Cataclysm. I ride Argent Warhorse and Argent Hypogryph. I am happy to see that Tirion Fordring has claimed back his town--Heathglen shortly after the defeat of the Lich King. I like to explore the world with in-game friends but not in a huge group though, pair would be the best.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
I am a Horde player and my main character in the last server is an orc death knight. I picked orc because of their mighty history and I love the Frostwolf Clan so I decided to be one of them. I prefer death knight is because I love to do quest and explore. Death knights are tanky enough to stand against the enemies during the exploration and quests. Blood death knight's healing abilities and their pretty good damage easily making them the most ideal characters for exploration and questing.

What are your expectations of this server?:
I had read through the rules and policies. I expecting this server to be a very discipline one as you guys listed out all the rules of a Roleplaying server. It is not easy for a private server to do so. Well done!

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
I am fine with all the rules and regulations since it is important to maintain the discipline of a server.

Did you know that we have a Mentor Program? It's entirely voluntary and you as a new player can sign up for it right now in your introduction! Are you interested in signing up to be assigned a Mentor? If so, say so here (Please enter at least "Yes" or "No"):
No. Not now.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
Drukgar the Shadow Paladin is an unmentioned legendary orc death knight in the Warcraft Universe. He is the son of Grakgar the Green Hunter. He was the first and the last orc paladin. His parents were exiled from the Warsong Clan after they refused to drink the blood of Mannaroth. They are the first few orcs to encounter and befriend the Blood Elves in the Azeroth. His father is a skillful orc hunter who saved by the Blood Elf forces near the Eversong Woods during the escape from a planned assassination on him and his wife by the corrupted Blackrock Clan.

Drukgar was born 5 years after the First War. Like his father, he joined the Blood Elf forces and serve the Sunstrider Dynasty under Anasterian Sunsrtider. He was first trained as a mage but he is not talented in the magic way. He was then joined the Blood Knight Order under Lady Liadrin. He is the only known orc who owned the power of Light. His purity and will power to serve the good made the impossible possible. With his superior strength and courage, he can easily outmanuever an experienced and well-trained Blood Elf paladin in a duel. He fought along side his father as a young paladin during the Second War, never losing in battle until the Third War.

The real challenge and turning point of his life came with the Third War. His family including himself were killed in the defense of Quel'Danas against the scourge and the Lich King himself. While his parents' dead bodies was captured by the blood elf defenders, he was raised as a death knight by the Lich King and later joined the Knights of the Ebon Blade.

He secretly quit the Knights of the Ebon Blade after the organization turn against their former master the Lich King.. With doubts, but still loyal, he continued to serve the Lich King in Northrend even after he remembered what happened to him, his family and the Quel'Danas in the past until he saved a human paladin who was tortured by his fellow death knights. Killing his associates in the process. He was able to escaped from the scourge camp which located in the Icecrown together with the wounded human paladin. He found the Argent Vanguard and brought the wounded paladin to Highlord Tirion Fordring. He was offered by Highlord Darion Mograine to join his Knights of the Ebon Blade. However, he chose to join the Argent Crusade saying that he was once a paladin and wanted to redeem himself with fighting together with the Light forces. With his explanation in paladin training and the Light, Tirion Fordring was surprised by the orc death knight and accepted him as a part of his organization.

He has became the second-in-command of Highlord Tirion Fordring after effectively sieged many of the scourge encampments with his knowledge on where the camps were located. He was later elected by Tirion and Thrall as the ambassador of the Argent Crusade for the Horde. He led the combined forces of the Argent Crusade and Knights of the Ebon Blade against the scourge to defend and make path for the adventurers during the invasion of the Icecrown Citadel. His forces were able to push the scourge army out of the Icecrown Glacial temporarily during the invasion which ensured the Lich King gets no help from his minions outside of the citadel.

After the fall of the Lich King, he was requested by Tirion to replace him as the leader of the Argent Tournament Grounds and was sent to investigate the development of the healing of Plaguelands and Nothrend.

He verbally supported Vol'Jin's plans on the Siege of Orgrimmar.

He will not take any role in the coming Warlords of Draenor expansion as he will remain in Azeroth with Tirion planning on their strategies to end the scourge once and for all.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
Nope.

Throm'ka, potential recruit!

You have taken a tremendous step with this submission! You will receive an 'official' response in due time, but meanwhile you may wish to ensure you've reviewed the following:
  • Rules (Remember, ignorance is no excuse in the case of rule-breaking! Don't make the Peon Overseers lash you with the whip any more than necessary!)
  • Policies (There are some policies that may be rather uncommon, so if you have not yet checked them then spare a moment to do so!)

Some extra reading that may be of use:
Soon, you should receive a reply to your submission from one of the Peon Overseers informing you of whether you are a suitable candidate for Peonship. Be patient! Just review the above information and a response will come before you know it! As an aside, I think Peon KCHWHS has an... er... 'interesting' ring to it, eh?

Hello there, KCHWHS! Welcome to Conquest of the Horde!

I'm glad to hear you like all our rules! Is there any one in particular that stands out, though?

Do you have Skype? If so, you should check out this thread! Feel free to add my Skype (loxmardin) as well, if you want to chat, ask questions or have me add you to the official CotH Skype Group, manually!

Remember to register your in-game account in the Account Management page with the exact information you registered your forum name under. Also, take a look at this announcement about the .LFRP command! It's totally useful!

As per standard approval procedure, I'm going to link you to a few nice places that it certainly doesn't hurt if you double-check and make yourself extra familiar with. These are the Rules and Policies, as well as the FAQs. They've got a bunch of vital information in them. Don't forget to "/join Chat" for general chatter, "/join Barrens" for general randomness and more spammy chatter in-game!

Without further ado, welcome to the server and I hope we'll see you around!

Happy RPing!

Love,
Overseer Loxmardin
