Hello everyone! After a brief discussion amongst some of the GM Team we are once more making a clarification for one of Warcraft's most famous and most confusing classes- the Priestess of the Moon. These Warrior-Women are blessed by their fervent faith in Elune and are well known for their unparalleled skill with a bow. At times this has given us trouble as to which is the base class- the hunter or the priest? At this junction we have come to a compromise as follows:
The Priestess of the Moon will have a Hunter Base Class
*Most noteworthy abilities are able to be explained via our variant system. (e.x. - Multi-Shot becomes Starfall, Arcane Arrow becomes Searing Arrow.)
*PotM will be allowed a minor healing spell. It is nothing extravagant as it will not grow back limbs or perform miracles. It is best for simply cleaning up cuts and bruises from usual combat.
The Priestess of the Moon will now be a Special Profile
*This means the profiles must be posted upon the PD board to be reviewed by GMs and will NOT be played prior to approval.
*The Special status aids is justifying the addition of a spell outside from the normal class.
*As well the special status covers military ranks, which PotM commonly hold, as well as any social status they may have.
Current Priestesses of the Moon WILL be grandfathered in, meaning that they need not worry about reprofiling or switching base classes.
