Dragon Age: Inquisition

Technically it's not released in EU yet, but staggered releases are BS so I cheated a little bit.

So far I'm really liking it. How about you guys?

Dragon Age: Inquisition has stolen my friends and family away, therefore I hate it.

It comes out in AU tomorrow. So I'll be getting it and then becoming a hermit forever. I've been so hyped for this.

Just a heads up, I don't know if it'll be fixed tomorrow but Nvidia graphics cards have been having issues because there are no drivers for DAI: I. The drivers keep stopping during cutscenes causing a crash and I can't progress due to it. It only happens during cutscenes though.

That said, I'm up for multiplayer if somebody wants to. My origin nickname is Lazuri65

Oh and @"MstrCorvus" if you wanna start playing you can just do what I did and cheat with a VPN.

(Un)Lucky for me I have AMD. And I can't really cheat since I bought mine hard copy and EB doesn't release it until tomorrow.

However, I'd be up for Multiplayer when I get it working. My saddest part is Dragon Age Keep. I can't load my DA2 file through because it was a pirated copy (sshhh) And my Origins was played through Steam.

You can modify your DA2 story through DA keep, I lost my saves so I made my own so I had to remake decisions based on what I remembered. DA:I releases tomorrow for me, I'm also game for multiplayer if anyone wants.

The game doesn't import saves at all. The keep is the only way to do it, partly, I think, to deter casual pirates.

Really, though, the VPN I used to play was really simple. The servers don't care where you are, only the client. So you just gotta turn it on, log into Origin and then you can turn it off. Done.

Just picked up my Inquisitor's Edition copy of the game. Big box, so pumped.

I'm pretty skeptical about picking it up since 4 of the 5 AAA games I've picked up this year have some big problem on release or just don't rub me the right way. The last Dragon Age also left me in a bit of a "meh" mood. If you guys are enjoying it, I'll keep an eye out for a sale on it. I need some good D&D fantasy.

It's not without its problems. The problem I'm currently struggling with is that the Nvidia drivers are faulty and during cutscenes, the driver will occasionally quit on me causing a crash. Gameplay itself has been flawless so far.

Personally, I truly disliked the gameplay in previous DA games and especially so in Origins. It was tedious, boring, way too mechanical and they seemed to think I'd get bored if I went 30 seconds without shoving my sword up an enemy's ass to the hilt. The story is what kept me going through the previous two.

This game features some better gameplay that's faster and more organic than previous games. It's quite a bit different from previous DA games though, so some fans might end up disappointed.

Though I find that what makes me enjoy this game the most is the world itself. First of all, it is -gorgeous-. Like.... Absolutely gorgeous. And these areas have so much to do! Every time I do a quest, I encounter three more on my way to the objective. And it's so alive too. Enemies are not static and roam the map and even fight each other. I think my favorite moment was when I first went to the stormy coastal area and spotted a dragon flying over the hills. Later on I encountered the same dragon as it was fighting what looked like a giant or troll next to the storming sea.

But the moment I fell in love with this game is depicted right here. (it's a spoiler free picture)

I just came out of a cave and was met with this breathtaking sight. Never dared attack it, though.
