First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
Well, to start off with: I am a girl and I like gaming. I play games like WoW (Molten Private Server and RP), Kingdom Hearts, anime games... But I also like games as GTA and Destiny (Shooters). My favorite games are fantasy MMO's. I grew up with them, so I guess that's the reason why I love them so much.
When I'm playing a game, I like to quest. I never miss a detail in a quest (for example: You should go forward, but you can go to the left and to the right. I would go left and right first to explore the area, and then I would continue my quest). But I also like to give a story to a situation where there isn't really a story.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I'm from the Netherlands, which means I speak Dutch.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
When my sister was like 13, I was 7 years old. She had a boyfriend at that time, and he played WoW with his brother. He asked me if I wanted to create a character, so I did (I made a human, but I can't remember the class.. It's too long ago). I did a few quests and a few years later, I bought the game for a month. I realized that I liked it really much, but I didn't want to spend money on it, so I started playing Molten-WoW.
How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
I was looking for an RP server a few days ago, and I ended up at Paragon. That server's nice, but too quiet. There are not many players online, and if there are, they are only interested in adults-only roleplay. Now, today, I googled more and I found this server. I wanted to check it out.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I like to roleplay mysterious figures, with a never-ending story (for example: A girl has lost her parents because they were killed by a beast, now the girl wants to know more of the beast and eventually kill it > but she never will in the roleplaying-story.)
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
I like blood elves, because of the environment where they live (I'm thinking about Ghostlands). I, as a person in real life, love to take walks in the woods and clear my mind, but I also like to create horror stories. I get the same feeling when I'm in Ghostlands as a character, because of the mood in there: It's dark, there's fog, and you still have time to think.
My favorite class is a rogue, because you can sneak up to people and steal. It's like being a thief or someone who needs to earn their bread but isn't able/allowed to work for it.
What are your expectations of this server?:
I think the people on this server are really nice. I enjoy Horde more than Alliance, so that's something I expect first: more nice people than the people in alliance. Also, I need a place to "act" my stories.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Respect: I think this is an important rule, because there are a lot of people who don't respect each other (in real life and virtual). I've been bullied in my life more than a few times, and that has made me a person who wants discipline and respect.
Did you know that we have a Mentor Program? It's entirely voluntary and you as a new player can sign up for it right now in your introduction! Are you interested in signing up to be assigned a Mentor? If so, say so here (Please enter at least "Yes" or "No"):
No, thank you, but it's good to hear that it exists!
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
'She walked to the river, outside of her fisher-house. The moonlight glew upon the water, which was shimmering. She sat down and thought about her life. She knew she had to do something to survive, but she couldn't think of anything but fishing. She looked to the moon and thought of a creature who could help her, so she made a wish. She walked inside and grabbed a copper coin. There were now seven left, and she had to buy her groceries for two weeks from that money. She walked outside and sat down. The moonlight shined at her, and she looked at it, while whispering: "Give me freedom and happiness, so I won't have to live this life anymore." The moon disappeared behind a cloud, and she fell asleep.
The next morning, she woke up. Her clothes were not dirty anymore, neither was the woman herself. She was shocked, and immediately stood up, heading for the door of her house. When she came inside, everything was cleaned. On the table, there was a letter, saying:
"My dear Aviara,
I hope this is what you wished for.
I want you to be happy and live the life that you want, but you still need to live here.
That's why I left you money. With this money, you can buy food, upgrade your house, and the best of all: buy supplies for another job. Money doesn't grow itself, right? When that is all done, you can pay me back. I will wait for it, until you have settled yourself.
Find a man, get kids, and be free.
Love,
Nymphiar"
Aviara, the woman, cried above the note. She smiled, and walked outside with the money, starting the new life that she wanted.
Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
No, thank you. If there is anything I want to know later, I will ask.
