eli12's Introduction
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
I play WoW for fun. My friends are alot more into making their characters as powerful as they could. I was a lot more interested in grouping with my friends and having huge group RPs, which generally aren't a fast way to level. They are however I think, the most enjoyable way to experience WoW and to play the game.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I come from the US and speak English.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
I was surfing the internet and saw an ad for the "best MMO ever!" and decided to check it out. I have been playing since.

What made you seek our server over others?:
Most of my friends stopped playing WoW, which left me with no-one to RP with seriously. I saw that this was a serious RP server, which is even better then playing with your semi serious friends. I also liked how this server seems to be well put together, organized AND I didn't hear about it having alot of terrible bugs.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I enjoy large group RPing the best. This lets you have the greatest diversity of personalities and histories. If you have a bunch of different people in one group, it is incredible cool if their ideals or personalities collide or conflict and you get players interacting in a unique way.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
I love mages. They are incredibly powerful with their spells which makes playing them so much more fun. Having a wide variety of spells and ways to encounter an fight make them a multilayered and cool class. I also like playing a Gnome because of the way people interact with them. Having a tiny man threatening to blast them into bits really messes with players and can make and RP alot more interesting.

What are your expectations of this server?:
That the players are actually all serious about RPing and it to be a stable system.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Maturity. This is very important. It is fun to be silly up to a point. When you cross that line, the current RP goes haywire and you lose the constructive mood. Soon everyone is saying stupid things as well as acting OOC such as jumping on tables and dancing everywhere. Being Mature is an excellent rule for a RP server.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:

Richard drew back his hands, tapping into the ancient energy that fueled his attacks. Focusing his mind on the element needed to summon the flames, he swings his arms forward giving the explosion extra power. With a mighty whoosh, the fire blasts out his arms spiralling towards his target. The unfortunate farm animal never stood a chance. The dimwitted sheep only has time to wonder where the heat came from before it violently is blown apart.

"RICHARD!?" bellowed Kaylee. " What in the blazes are you doing assaulting animals for?" "We came here to eliminate the Defias that are killing the towns people, not butcher their livestock."

"Well, since we came here to completely eradicate them. I thought I might kill the food supply as well." "Now they can't eat them if they do manage to survive."

"Are you an idiot?! If we kill off their food supply, they will attack the town to capture more food." "They might kill someone in the pillaging and then we would be responsible for the attack and their deaths."

"Oh....I didn't think of that." "Well then, we had better kill them all then the first time."

"We had better kill them all the first- further conversation between the two of them is cut off by the yell of a man.

"Ay', come look at 'dis fellas. Someone blasted 'ur sheep in two. I want 'dis whole area looked 'or, the person who did 'dis had better be caught."

"Well Richard, congratulations. You have officially screwed us over. This was supposed to be a stealth mission." "We go in, find the leaders, kill them, plunge the camp into chaos and make off with the food. Instead, we get to hide from them as they look for us."

"I don't plan on hiding from anyone Kaylee, I plan on fighting my way through."

"NO, you wouldn't."

"Yes, I am."

With a quick salute, Richard turns and starts running towards the Defias camp. Directing a prayer of protection at his diminishing back, Kaylee starts to follow him. Spinning to face the advancers, a Defias thief prepares to attack him. Pointing his wand at the Defias man, Richard sends a bolt of ice sailing at him. The icicle strikes the man in his legs, instantly freezing them in place. The man screams in agony as Kaylee's mace hits the ice, shattering it and his legs into snow. Running swiftly away from the dying man, Richard and Kaylee make their way up a hill overlooking the Defias camp.

"Ready?" Kaylee asks Richard.

The gigantic roar of hundreds of flaming meteors as they approach the earth do well to answer her question. Tents explode, men are incinerated. and whole buildings are destroyed when the rocks hit ground.

"Why didn't you do that in the beginning?"

"You said it was a stealth mission"

Stunned silence follows the pair as they make their way back to Sentinal Hill.

"They won't attack these folks for a good long while now. Else they get a taste of my ice as well."

"Richard, you are the Scourge of the Defias."

"Scourge of the Defias.", I like the sound of that!"
.....

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
(This can be anything. Questions/Comments are always welcome.)

Welcome to the server! Remember that Mages aren't all-powerful! Spells like that won't cast quickly in character, and probably take a bunch out of you. I'm sure you know that, but I've got to point it out.
