First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
Greetings CotH! I'm Adelaide, a 15-year-old role player coming here straight from pen-and-paper Dungeons and Dragons. I've been RP'ing for almost as long as I can remember. I'd say that I'm a "perfectionist" type gamer. Collecting those silly little treasures for that small self-esteem boost is what I live for. I always try taking the game seriously, but having a good time is my number one priority.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I hail from the good ol' United States. That being said, it can be assumed that my primary language is English. I think I have some language glitches every now and then, but I try my best to be grammatically correct and, more importantly, understandable.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
I'm not going to lie, I've only ever watched people play Warcraft. As stated above, I've been pen-and-papering all of my life. I'm coming to Warcraft because it seems like an excellent medium to use for role playing. The environment is tangible (in a sense) and I can see what's going on! I also get to exploit it as an opportunity to RP with people from across the world, as opposed to across the dining room table.
What made you seek our server over others?:
I chose CotH simply because it seems to be the best RP server around. The community is guaranteed to be a good one, thanks to the approval system. You cannot role play without a great community; and without any other servers selecting their players, Conquest of the Horde has to be unparalleled.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I'm more of a traveler. I love wandering the lands with a few close buddies and seeing what the wonderful folks at Blizzard put there. I really enjoy action RPs as well. Nothing finishes my day on a more enjoyable note than me standing victorious atop a mountain of corpses.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
My favorite race is hands down the Dwarves. They're personalities are so flexible and fun to evolve. You could have the pugnacious ax-wielding ale-chugging over-exuberant bar fighting dwarf, or the stone-cold no-nonsense silent-type dwarf. Their life stories are also very fun to write out and share.
As for my favorite class? Warrior. Nothing satisfies me more than being in front smacking anything that moves with a large blunt object. Again, the flexibility with the class is very fun to work with. Do you play the knight who is traveling to find a purpose? Or do you roll the "Hulk smash!" dumber-than-a-rock mind slave the crushes life from everything? The possibilities are endless with any class of course, but Warriors are near and dear to my little heart.
What are your expectations of this server?:
I expect this server to give me a great place to role play. What more can be said?

The light at the end of the tunnel didn't seem to be getting any closer. Rath could feel her heart pounding against the sturdy plate buckled to her chest. A quick glance to the left verified that her partner was still running.
>"Sorry to interrupt, Ma'am, but I don't think we're going to reach the end before it reaches us!" shouted Baurus, her partner.
She fired a nasty look at him, signifying that he would be better off with his mouth shut. She began cursing wildly, frustrated the they wouldn't be able to outrun the beast. Rath planted her feet into the ground, then pivoted around and drew her sword. What she saw facing her was a titanic beast. The creature was covered in a scabby, rotten flesh and it wreaked of death.
>"Well you better like this plan," she shouted, "'cause it's the last one we have!"
Baurus locked eyes with the horror, a smirk grew across his battle-hardened face.
>"Oh beastie," he coaxed, "you're not gonna like her when she's angry."
The duo rushing into battle, slashing away at the abomination. Their feeble strikes served only to make it angrier. With a powerful smash, it sent both adversaries tumbling to the ground. In hope of ending the troublesome pair, the creature raised its foot in an attempt to crush them.
>"Baurus, just drop the loot and run!" Shouted Rath
>"Over my dead body." He replied
>"Well I have a feeling that he's going to arrange that," she argued, "now swallow your pride and run!"
Baurus let out a deep sigh and chucked the golden jug at the beast. The adventurers sprinted to freedom as the monster ran deeper into the cave with the relic safely in tow.

Quote:Be respectful. At all times. This is not optional. Show respect to your fellow players, regardless of their faction or affiliation. We are all playing this game to enjoy it, and being rude or disrespectful to another player does not enhance anyone's enjoyment. If it enhances your own enjoyment, you undoubtedly do not belong on this server. Being respectful is easy enough if you think about it. Even players that you dislike or seem unable to get along with can be treated with respect. When all else fails, the IGNORE filter is in place for a reason.Because that's the problem solver! If we can all just get a long and respect each other than there isn't a need for all those other rules.
