Heyo, readers. My name's Mike, and don't feel odd calling me it.

2. How did you hear about us?
This one's mildly embarassing. I actually managed to find you guys by simply googling "WoW RP only private" while having a discussion with a friend about RP servers in general. Top hit, got curious.
3. How did you get into RP?
Old hobby from when I was a youngling with an overactive imagination, translated on through the years to a personal private server with a friend where we plotted a few things that always hit snags with the lack of people. Failures on live Blizz servers led to disappointment in general, so I found my RP vents elsewhere, online communities, wherever I could find them.
4. How did you get into Warcraft?
My uncle gave me his copy of Warcraft 3, but I was too young to appreciate it, and then my father, bless/curse his soul, depending on how you look at it, got me into World of Warcraft. At first I was just a player who liked the game, until I heard of a little website called WoWWiki about a year ago....to loretastic results. Nothing quite sucks you into any sort of lore than a Wiki. One minute you're just looking something up, four hours later you know the entire damn story of the War of the Ancients and bought the books off Amazon.
5. What is your favorite race/class?
Fan of the orcs, I kind of see them as one of the few races with a track record of keeping their word and honor when not under the influence of demons, although I have had some enjoyable stints playing gnomes in the past. I've had the same Orcish Warrior since I started playing the game way back before anyone knew what a Battleground was, so I have to, no doubt go Orcish Warrior, despite how hard Blizzard seems to like to give us the short straw sometimes. The warrior kind of evokes a sort of blademaster, berserker or swordmaster ideal that's unique to the class, and makes writing them really enjoyable due to their implied mastery and oneness with their weapons.
6. What is your favorite kind of character to play?
When it comes to characters I like ones that don't take things all too seriously, tongue in cheek characters that compliment themselves easily to my writing style (Which I borrow ideas from the likes of Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Christopher Moore, etc.) I never liked melodramatic angsters, so I've always been attracted to wisened characters who like to teach the new kids on the block a thing or two, all while being smart-asses about it, but know exactly what subject merits their undivided attention, and what not to joke about.
7. What is your favorite kind of RP?
The kind that at the end of the day leaves you smiling and laughing, and a month or two later makes you go "Hey, remember when...?" Serious, dark RPs are nice, but to me they're not as enjoyable as simple RPs where the lips are lose, the jokes run wild, the characters are true and real, and surrealist type humor sneaks in wherever it can. Although hardcore, well done immersion helps, and typically the humoristic stylings tend to be contributed by my favorite types of characters, while a good hardass RP's enjoyable, especially if well done. Nothing like dominating ultimate evils or dealing with well done portrayals of racism.
8. Do you have any hobbies (outside of Warcraft)/talents/stupid human tricks?
I'm a gamer all a round, I play D&D with a group of close friends and love to read, and recently picked up learning guitar on a dedicated level.
