Hello folks! Pleased to make your acquaintance. I go by Sariko on forums, but I'll answer to pretty much anything you call me, aside from maybe Bob. I don't care for Bob.

1. First things first! Did you read the rules, policies, and FAQs?

Indeed I did! I've hopped around in the wiki quite a bit, read what I think are the essential pages, perused some profiles, and chuckled quite a bit at some of the rules. I'm positively enthralled that some of the things Blizzard lets 'RPers' get away with don't cut it here. *sighs at the godmoding illiterate h4xx0r kiddies*

2. How did you hear about us?
Let's see, what was the order of operations again? I checked out the xfire profile of a friend of mine from another MMO, and saw he had screenshots of a private RP server. That sparked my curiosity, and I went rummaging around the interwebs looking for one, and came across mention of Conquest of the Horde in a comment on a blog post about private RP servers, and here I am. /curtsey

3. How did you get into RP?
When I was a teenager I used to RP frequently and textually with a friend of mine. I've also dabbled in Live RP servers, but I end up feeling sunken into the crowd, overpowered by aloof self-important roleplayers and unable to find a place for myself. It probably doesn't help much that I'm a bit shy though, teehee.

4. How did you get into Warcraft?
In December 2005, I met my husband (then boyfriend) for the first time in person. He was playing WoW on my computer, and he showed me around. I was fascinated, and I started playing with him. It was actually my first 3D MMO, and the lore completely sucked me in, even if I still don't know everything.

5. What is your favorite race/class?

I love priests and restoration druids... I'm very fond of playing support classes, and I love healing. I tend to play elves and humans, though which race I choose depends on my purposes. Humans make very noble priests and paladins, night elves are stunning druids, blood elves and their compact pose when stealthing makes for nice rogues... I could ramble on and on, but long story short, hooray for lore and characterization!

6. What is your favorite kind of character to play?
I enjoy playing characters who are friendly, helpful and morally good. I've never enjoyed dark, brooding characters with epic backgrounds and sky-high goals. I prefer my characters to be humble and supportive, with just a smidge of heroism.

7. What is your favorite kind of RP?

I enjoy the physical aspect of WoW - it's nice to be able to physically see other characters and the environment as a foundation for your imagination, and it feels wonderfully immersive. I like being able to blend into a scene, particularly in a town, while still having some personal interactions. My characters live their lives supplemented by the actions of others, as it should be.

8. Do you have any hobbies (outside of Warcraft)/talents/stupid human tricks?

No, I'm pretty boring. I translate some stuff in my free time, but most of my time goes into playing WoW or doing things necessary to sustaining the lifestyle to which I have become accustomed. As far as stupid human tricks go, I can shake my eyeballs and flip my tongue upside down!

9. What country are you from?
Everything's free in America, for a small fee in Amer-i-kaaaaaa~ I'm from California, and my first language is English. Other than my brain going absent without official leave occasionally, my spelling and grammar is pretty good, so it shouldn't be a problem.

10. Remember question #1? Do you agree to abide by the rules and policies?
Yes sir/ma'am/miss/mistress/lord/master/almighty being of time and space/Cthulhu/Thrall's grandmother's dog's babysitter/other term of respect of your choice.

Welcome! And it's okay to call Nostra Cthulhu. He'd probably rather enjoy that idea.
