2. How did you hear about us?
I used to play on a PvP, Instant-70 Funserver. I hated the PvP part, but the one thing I liked was that the world wasn't swarming with a bunch of crazed player-killers everywhere I went, and I could explore happily and appreciate the painstaking building that went into the world. Eventually, I got tired of having nothing else to do but explore, and I began searching for an RP server. This one stood out as one of my top Google hits.
3. How did you get into RP?
I've always loved the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter fantasy franchises. I bought the game "Neverwinter Nights" when I was twelve, and I got the hang of pretending to be a different character. I began to really like the idea of RP, and it became a hobby of mine.
4. How did you get into Warcraft?
While playing Neverwinter Nights, there would be people who talked about World of Warcraft. I looked around and found out information about it, and was happily surprised at the complexity of the world, so I bought the game. After playing for it and finding that most of the game was filled with pervs and insane PvP'ers, I left. After a while, I figured out what a private server was, and came back to the game.
5. What is your favorite race/class?
I have to say that I love the Tauren. They're nomadic, shamanistic society reminds me of Native American culture, which I love as well. As for class, I'd say either shamans or druids are appealing to me. Shamans for their use of spiritual magics, and druids for their love and dedication to the natural world.
6. What is your favorite kind of character to play?
I like playing a free-spirited person; Someone who isn't bound completely to any one society, but instead wanders the earth in search of adventure, and experiencing different things.
7. What is your favorite kind of RP?
I like RP where an outcome is based off the RP itself (If that makes sense). I like it when the fate of a group of characters determines the outcome of a battle. When players and their actions begin to help shape the world is favorable, in my opinion.
8. Do you have any hobbies (outside of Warcraft)/talents/stupid human tricks?
I love wildlife art, and I've begun to pursue that as a career, inspired by the famous artist Robert Bateman. Also, I volunteer at the local Nature Center where I live, taking care of the animals we have and helping when someone gives us an injured or sick animal. It's a great hobby of mine, and I feel it lets me connect with the natural world a little bit more.
