Au Revoir

I choose not to write a lengthy farewell message at first, but I thought "Eh. Just a message will do." So here it goes...

Due to some recent events and ones not so recent. I have chosen to take a path that I thought I wouldn't need to take. I am leaving the virtual world completely and by that I mean gaming and any kind of online community, simply put, I am addicted to the e-world as it is an escape to a much more relaxing life, but at the same time, an unhealthy one.

I chose to start with the core of my addiction, CoTH and role-playing, next will be my internet connection.
This is an addiction that has taken toll on my real life, away from the computer screen. Things that I won't be going into detail with.

I just want to say my farewells to everyone, it was a grand experience. I will not forget the many friends that I have made and the things you've taught me. Things I wouldn't have learned on my own.

I have requested a ban on my forum account and my game account to eliminate any temptation.

I do not plan to return at all. So yeah, Peace COTH!

Escapism addiction is such a bad problem these days. The fact that you recognize it and taking care of it shows how strong you are. I've dealt with it too when I was younger. My solution was balance, but everyone's cure is different. Some people have to stop altogether when they realize they're escaping reality too much.
