Personal Chronicle forum
#1
I must say, that in my short stance in this server, I have liked a lot of things. The event system seems to work marvels, as well as the filtering system and the leveling system. But something essential that this forum lacks, is the personal chronicle section.

This section is in most RP servers. It allows you to write your story while you advance in roleplaying, as it was a book or a diary. It can be IC or storytelling type, the diference is only that the first one is in first person and the second in third. No one that is not you can post on your chronicle. The Personal chronicle is divided wether in 1 subforum for each race, or in one subforum for each class, Admin choice. It also has a place "off-topic" where everyone can post their thoughts about certain Chronicle. Chronicles, of course, are never obligatory to write.

Creating this forum would bring the following benefits:
1: Had encouraging of RP via fans: When you have fans, you are encouraged to keep on with the show, keeping the quality of your chronicle or improving it. And that is acomplished by improving your RP. Also, when you are fan of a charachter, you are encouraged to RP with him.
2: Organization: With a chronicle, a player can tell what he has done in-game and how his charachter has evolved. This greatly helps when you need to explain things to a GM. For example, it could help you explain why your druid has helped a warlock in his studies. In your chronicle you could show that it has been becoming corrupted from a long time.

Now, this can be done in game of course, with addons that allow you to write books, but has 2 big problems:
1: Addons are very, very fragile. Let us supose that you have to delete your WTF folder, for any reason and you forget to make a copy. All your writing becomes lost
2: It is very dfficult to make it public. If it doesn't become public, there are no fans

If this section does exist, please, let me know. I have looked everywhere for it and in game i have been told that it doesn't exist. Any thoughts?

This is essentially the In-Character forum. It's where we post journals, books, and events. In-Character means anything typed without brackets is part of the story, or part of a work that's meant to exist in our fictional world.
