/whisper RP?
#1
Can one use the /whisper function to IC communicate? I've been using it a little and i would like to know if its allowed, an example would be, [*A faint voice, as if the wind enters your ear* "Hello, how is it going?"] Just want someone to clear this up for me, thanks.

That would be metagaming, unless you can actually communicate over long distances in some way (You can't, unless you went and started working for the Cartel who have radios, or are doing it between two Shaman who are casting some sort of elaborate, channeled ritual at the same time.).

Ok, thank you. Being a shaman i should be able to talk to others, but they should not be able to talk back to me, correct?

If done while in close proximity I don't see a problem. As for long distances, I would say a definite no, unless again the following parameters listed above were in check.

i.e.- /e leans into whisper to Kwai Chang Caine.

/w Kwai Chang Caine "Hey, can you secretly teach me the ways of the Shaolin?"

We don´t allow mind-control/reading RP due to the large risk for metagaming, I doubt we´ll let people have abilities to speak with others from far off.

The exception could possibly be walkies and such.

Even with radios, other people around would be able to hear you. And if you were whispering into the radio, well... Then the person you're trying to talk to couldn't hear you.
