With the boats broken, my normal path for Horde and flightless characters to Booty Bay is disrupted, leaving many of my characters stranded from the city, one of which who is heading there ICly to figure out this ghost nonsense. Of course, why not propose a portal to the Goblin Town in Shattrath? It would solve quite the amount of problems, and I see no particular reason not to.

While I agree with the idea of a portal to Goblin cities, keep in mind that the boats aren't completely broken, only fickle. My Maulbane got onto it after it sailed in ten meters away from port, only to dissapear and dock properly. In some cases, therefore, it will work. Some. Zeppelins are still a worry, though.
