never really thought about this till just now, and now I must ask, why was the server named Conquest of the Horde? May seem like an odd question, just not sure I guess

Because Kretol plays Horde on Live, and couldn't think of anything else. That's really all to the story.

In a Land of Conquest there lived a being named Kretol... He was the leader of the Horde one of the many factions of this great land. After years of living and battling for this land the great Kretol got tired of only having one part of Conquest so... He met up with his greatest General the great Grakor and together they stormed the other beings destroying all who failed to bow before the all mighty Kretol and his Horde. They fought all until there was none left and Conquest belong to the Horde. The Great Kretol had claimed Conquest... Claimed it for his horde and thus he named it.... CONQUEST OF THE HORDE!

It was named Conquest of the Horde because Bruce felt it should be named as such. And so it was done.

Long ago, Kretol dwelled on what we call Retail. He was there when the servers were good, and as they grew worse. OOCers and poor roleplayers became more and more common as the game became more populated. Watching their downward spiral pained Kretol, so he eventually decided that he simply had to act, to put his foot down.

"Enough is enough!" He bellowed to the unwashed masses.

"I have had it with these motherf***ing lollers on my motherf***ing Warcraft!"

And with that said, his fury expended, he raised the mighty computer with which he would work his solution to these faults and spoke again in a more placid tone. "I'm 'bout to open some private servers."
