So, I'm stealing Krilari's layout because it's awesome. New fad!

Orvisha Lorewolf

Limit Food In-Take
"I'm young, and I've survived in the wilds of Azeroth in my travels on about as much. So long as I have water, I'll live. The healers, callers, and casters among us need the energy the most."

Hide Feelings
"She'll use it against us, Faceless. I can take whatever else she tosses in here, but I won't see him hurt. He thinks the same, I know."

Hunt the Arcane Spirit
"I wonder how perceptive it is. Eyes in the back of its head? While Krona knows runes, I'm still keeping an eye on it so long as it floats in here."

Stand up to Fendrin
"Pup-knight. Empty inside. I feel little pity for him, and his frustration brings me laughter. If he wants respect, he will learn the right way to get it, and it won't be pushing 'lessers' around. His mistress is losing my respect as well for tolerating his idiocy."

Provide Support
"Ancestors, I feel useless in here. I can't cast, I can't swing anything much heavier than my axe. I'll do what I can to support the others and hope I'm not a burden."

Meditate
"I miss the stars. I've not panicked yet, but if I find myself alone in a darker corner, I cannot breathe. Earth, bring me stability."

...
"I know we'll get out of here."
I'm enjoying getting to roleplay an 'evil' character!
Ensuena's To-do List, updated:

- Complain constantly around the pansy guards, especially the troll.
- In the face of less pansy guards, keep your damn mouth shut. They're all pansies.
- Not die. Do a better job at this. Stupid elemental.
- Find something entertaining to do. Or someone, but the smell of the cave really kills the mood in that regard. Not physically fit for this at the moment.
- Identify Light-lickers. They always provide entertainment with little fear of retaliation. Acquire heals.
- Try and not grow crazy as days pass without fel blood. TOO LATE. IT'S BEGINNING.
- Not die.
- Avoid the crazies. Including the troll in the dress and the Death Knight with a pal named Richard. Troll brings food, acceptable.
- Find a way to get outside for fresh air. Consider asking Tommy. Stupid elemental.
- Propose thirty ridiculous plans of escape throughout the ordeal while simultaneously dismissing others plans as stupid.
- Make a dozen metaphors a day, all related to various fruits.
- Not die. It's not your time. You've still so much to do.
There we go. Updated the roster again with the latest of the sign-ups.
Matherand's To-Do List, Updated:
  • Discover everything you possibly can about the elemental.
  • Whenever it becomes possible, destroy the elemental.
  • Figure out a way to compensate for the loss of strength incurred by the elemental's curse.
  • Find somewhere nice, neat and out of the way to store your shield and heavier pieces of armour where nobody's at liberty to tamper with it. It's no use to you now.
  • Free yourself of the curse.
  • Appeal directly to your employers at your earliest convenience. Their defective security hardware is strongly inhibiting your ability to do your job.
  • Discover everything you possibly can about the elemental.
  • Seek out the mage who bound the elemental. Get them at an inconvenience, if possible. Consider asking pointed questions with pointed objects.
  • Free yourself of the curse.
  • Figure out what goes on during those 'interviews'. Find the woman conducting them and give her an 'interview' of your own.
  • Destroy the elemental.
  • Continue conspiring towards vengeance on Mahen'tosh.
  • . . . Convince the elemental to pulverise Mahen'tosh.
  • Follow up on the prisoners and guards who were complaining of headaches, peculiar feelings, and strange visions. Investigate.
  • Take it easy.
  • Be as lazy as physically possible.
  • Escape.
  • Destroy the elemental.
  • Continue talking that Cinder woman through her usual dribbling stream of moral and philosophical queries. She might be a fine friend outside of this place - a fine follower, even.
  • Avoid the corpse-elves. Especially the pissy one.
  • Actually, continue trying to goad that Fendrin fellow into getting himself reacquainted with death.
  • Actually, that Reigen is another candidate for a potential ransom, provided you can fix your pressing problems.
  • Destroy the elemental.
  • Free yourself of the curse. (Note: Doing one before the other may mean the curse can never be broken. Balls.)
  • That Tommy bastard probably owes you a song by now.
  • Exchange orcish songs with Sylineri.
  • Continue using knowledge of the language, feigned respect for the culture and a polite demeanour to garner favour with the orcish prisoners.
  • Free yourself of the curse.
  • . . . Speak to Cristovao. He's only cursed because he tried to help you.
  • Escape.
I feel like I should talk about what's going on in Cinder's head, because its doubtless that what I'm thinking is more interesting than what her behavior reveals:

Basically, after days of hungry brooding in a corner of the cavern, she has been able to free herself somewhat from the oppression of the Faceless training by considering a world in which the "You are just a tool, you are the same as the others in the legion, do only as you're told" stuff and the self-imposed survival strategy of internalizing and vilifying any sense of emotion she feels as a weakness to be disregarded all may not, in fact, be correct. (There's the potential here for being put back into a situation in which she again takes on the 'Faceless legionaire' logic)

Without simply being an unquestioning soldier, Cinder has begun to grapple with the idea of making decisions on her own, relying on her default, Faceless pragmatism at times, and otherwise following the suggestions of others. Figuring out her own value set with which to base her actions is a challenge that she is not yet fully aware of, though after hearing Orvisha's lore-powered wisdom, she is now under the impression that she may need to seek out experiences until she finds one that should speak to her heaaOH God I just made her a cutie mark crusader. Thanks for that, C0r.

*ahem* As I was saying, she seems to have unrealistic expectations and understandings of others, and imagines that they have pretty well down pat what they want in life, what makes them tick, and this whole "friendship" business. And while this gives her a lot of negative emotions regarding herself for being inept compared to these expectations, she also does not really have a good grasp of what it is that she feels. After all this oppression, she has very little emotional intelligence, and is feeling very discouraged for so gravely misunderstanding the elemental, having tried to release it, thinking that it was behaving violently out of frustration of a presumed binding. And though she isn't entirely aware of it, she also really liked spending time with Matherand, and is more emotionally vulnerable after his unceremonious elemental torture.

And yeah, I know that in a way, its not so sporting of me to tell yall this rather than demonstrate it in RP, but I know I always find it more interesting to watch characters interact when I know what makes them tick.
Typing this also helps me get more comfortable with playing her. :P
Opening: Day 7 -- Updates
Day 5 and 6 have already passed and here are the updates since the past two days.
  • The elemental is frustrated. Cristovao, Matherand, Valan, Sudeth and Ensuena all fell victims to the elemental one way or another during yesterday. The most seriously injured was Sudeth, who was robbed of both his arms. Cristovao and Matherand seem weakened by the elemental's curse, and Ensuena and Valan are in recovery after grave injuries.
  • Prisoner interviews are on hold. In light of the elemental's rampage, the interviews will be put on hold for now.
  • Who is Naneth? Suspicions have started rolling amongst the prisoners, aimed at the Forsaken going by the name Naneth. Does she control the elemental? How can that be used to the prisoners' advantage?
  • Destroying a spirit? Plans are being discussed inside the cell, ideas being bounced about for how to deal with the elemental and eventually remove it as a threat. Hush, hush.
  • Strange visions. Several prisoners have reported having strange thoughts flicker across their minds. Their source and purpose is still unknown.

WEATHER FORECAST

PROGNOSIS: Cloudy, no winds. Expected increase in mist thickness. GOING OUT ALONE IS ILL ADVISED.
TEMPERATURE: 5*C/41*F during the day, predicted to drop to -5*C/23*F during the night.

CURRENT FOOD SUPPLY

WATER SUPPLY: Abundant.
FOOD SUPPLY: Two baskets of fruit, four barrels of alcoholic beverages, a half crate of wine bottles, a half sack of beef jerky, two sacks of grain.
PROGNOSIS: Current food supply will last one more day. NEEDS TO BE REPLENISHED SOON.

... Seems like we have to invite everyone to the Raid again when they come back online since it mysteriously disbanded with a Raid Leader change. One of the weirdest bugs I've seen so far. o.o

But yeah.
Cristovao's COMPLETELY RE-DONE To-Do List:

-Make amends if possible with the Elemental, your dislike for it is moreso aimed at its misuse than the elemental itself.
-But if that doesn't work, find a way to banish it back to the Nether. It is malicious all the same.
-Alternatively, take out Naneth. She's the master behind the elemental, and is using it to make us suffer.
-These all of course come after you deal with this curse. Every curse has a cure.
-Keep a strong face, because that's all you can do now.
-Save your energy for when your magic is most needed. It's hard, but you can't let a curse separate from the Light!
-See if someone can make you a cane. Hobbling and crawling sucks.
-Continue to worry about Diwaata and Melodia
-Don't lose hope. Light shines brightest in darkest night.

Just get the elemental to spit back up the arm of Ol' Ironjaw. It would be a festive accessory for Hallow's End!
Yeah I stole yer layout, C0r
Fendrin
  • Keep your wits about you.
  • Make sure the Prisoners don't do anything stupid.
  • Avoid killing any of the prisoners.
  • Avoid Orvisha.
  • Plan and prepare for whatever may come next.
  • End the Elemental.
  • Keep Reigen safe.
Sudeth:

- Meditate to keep thoughts intact.
- Avoid talking down to the elemental. . .
- Try to keep other prisoners from angering elemental.
- Keep calm.
- Arms. Get them back.
- Attempt to reason with the elemental.
- Don't let Ulfis hurt himself again.
- Arms.
- Arms.
- Arms.
Closing: Day 7 -- Updates
Day 7 has mostly passed, so I figure I should give you the updates so far.
  • The elemental has forgiven you. After causing several major injuries during the day, the elemental was mostly appeased by a show of obedience to its requests as Reigen delivered the wanted "criminal", Py, to it. Several people were, however, severely injured or traumatized in the process.
  • Prisoner interviews are on hold. In light of the elemental's rampage, the interviews are still on hold.
  • Violent visions. During several occasions today, the visions that have plagued the people on the island have expressed themselves violently, giving power to unseen forces that have shoved people, causing significant harm and annoyance.
  • Naneth, the Elemental's Master. Theories have been established amongst the prisoners and guards alike that the Forsaken known as Naneth is the supposed master of the Elemental. It has been agreed amongst some that something should be done about her. But what?
  • Alleged casualty: Py, the guard. After violating the peace of the elemental's flowers, Py was mauled and handed to the elemental eventually. The elemental later announced her fate, claiming she has deceased.
  • New NPC introduced: Watcher. It entered the cell earlier today to taunt the prisoners, and appears to be a guard in the caves.
  • The list of command words? The Watcher spoke of a list of command words, supposed to be revealed. She spoke a couple of words inside the cell to trigger the collars of those present. Perhaps there are more such words available for controlling them.
