Welcome!
Lok'Tar! Conquest of the Horde was originally a private World of Warcraft RP community that focused primarily on roleplay within the WoW setting. Originally established in September of 2007, CotH enjoyed a healthy reign of over seven years focused on WoW roleplay. On January 22nd of 2015, a DMCA notice was issued, resulting in a halt of the WoW RP focus. Now, the community has expanded to encompass multiple worlds in various games and settings. This community will serve as a hub for members to join like-minded individuals in any game or environment. The community itself will also host a few game worlds of its own after development progresses enough.
While the dust is settling after the revelation of the WoW server closure, feel free to hang out and see how development goes!

  Experimenting with newest builds
Posted by: Kretol - 11-07-2007, 04:21 AM - Forum: Community News - No Replies

I've finally gotten a newer server build running, and it -appears- to be stable thus far.
The revision we had been running on is almost a month-old, now. Many bugs have been fixed, HOWEVER NPC-scripting is currently not working (due to the support for that script language being removed), in addition to the custom portals.

Assuming all new builds henceforth are stable, I'll start work on the teleports (currently, the only one working is the Shatterspear port, since it was my first one and I didn't use the easier scripting ability).

Planned Downtime - Nov 6th. Late PM
Posted by: Kretol - 11-06-2007, 12:53 PM - Forum: Community News - Replies (2)

A new router should be arriving today, so when I get home from work (sometime after 10pm, undoubtedly), I'll be replacing my current old router with the new one.
In other words, this means a wee bit of downtime! I'd estimate around 10-30 minutes, depending on what setup procedure the new router goes through.

Furthermore, there may be some connectivity 'hiccups' once I get it going while I go through and set up proper port-forwarding and other customization.

Having really bad ISP issues. Constantly losing connectivity, so don't be surprised if you're unable to connect!
