Welcome! |
Lok'Tar! Conquest of the Horde was originally a private World of Warcraft RP community that focused primarily on roleplay within the WoW setting. Originally established in September of 2007, CotH enjoyed a healthy reign of over seven years focused on WoW roleplay. On January 22nd of 2015, a DMCA notice was issued, resulting in a halt of the WoW RP focus. Now, the community has expanded to encompass multiple worlds in various games and settings. This community will serve as a hub for members to join like-minded individuals in any game or environment. The community itself will also host a few game worlds of its own after development progresses enough.
While the dust is settling after the revelation of the WoW server closure, feel free to hang out and see how development goes!

STERLING HART, GET YOUR REAR OVER HERE!
This is just to let folks know that as of this very second (as in, in this very post), I am instructing GMs to remove any user's avatar that they cannot see.
Ya know how quite a few folks seem to have broken images for their avatar? That was the result of a very interesting incident involving an axe, a hamster, and the web server. Anyway, the result is that a lot of avatars have gone missing.
"WUT?! UNPOSSIBLE!" you may exclaim. "DIS NOT HAPPEN TO ME, I STILL SEE MY AVATUR!" Well, my friend, you may see your own avatar, but it is possible that no-one else does. My -guess- is that it's cached on your own computer (or it may be related to you being logged into your account), but anyway... HENCEFORTH, GMS ARE TO FEEL FREE TO REMOVE THE AVATAR OF ANYONE THAT HAS A BROKEN LINK!
"How might I do that, Administrative Overlord?" I'm glad you asked!
First, choose a hapless victim poor unfortunate soul...
such as this one:
Next, click on the Edit User link...
Then check the following box, and click the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page.
Done!
Anyone who happens to see a user with a broken avatar, please report one of their posts just to point it out.
Thank you!

11/2 - Random Connectivity Issues |

It seems my connection (or some connection) is being a bit troubling today! I seem to keep getting connection spikes which cause a handful of people (not everyone) to disconnect.
I can't detect any issues with any gear on my side, so I'm assuming it's a connection issue externally (as in, nothing that I can control). This is just an FYI that gameplay today will probably be affected if you log in!
