Welcome! |
Lok'Tar! Conquest of the Horde was originally a private World of Warcraft RP community that focused primarily on roleplay within the WoW setting. Originally established in September of 2007, CotH enjoyed a healthy reign of over seven years focused on WoW roleplay. On January 22nd of 2015, a DMCA notice was issued, resulting in a halt of the WoW RP focus. Now, the community has expanded to encompass multiple worlds in various games and settings. This community will serve as a hub for members to join like-minded individuals in any game or environment. The community itself will also host a few game worlds of its own after development progresses enough.
While the dust is settling after the revelation of the WoW server closure, feel free to hang out and see how development goes!

Most of the options do not yet work. However, I have updated the Character Transfer option so folks can fully utilize their second account (if they have one).
Wondering how to get a second account? If you are a Grunt, you are free to submit a ticket in-game to request one!

Plagiarism is a huge pet peeve of mine... and I'm not even a teacher! If you're posting a guide or something from another site and you did not originally post it, please give proper credit. The original author does not deserve to have their hard work being paraded around as being written by someone else. Furthermore, it's proper to ask permission of the original author first before posting their work elsewhere, even if cited!
I am aware that there are several other sites that have copied information from here (notably guides). Some of them are pretty much direct copies - others are used as inspiration. Bear in mind that imitation is not the same as plagiarizing. If you are writing something and used someone else's work as inspiration for your own post/thread, I highly encourage you to reference that in your post. It is a sign of respect for the original author, and I'm sure they would feel good if they ever discover their work being used for that purpose. On the other hand, if they discover their work directly copied to another site (without references), they'd undoubtedly feel the complete opposite.
So, as a reminder, do not plagiarize!

Come, dear listeners, hear me as I tell you a tale most epic.
The world of Conquest of the Horde was a place most wondrous and peaceful, a place of grand roleplay and friendliness. Suddenly, however, the peace of this seeming idyllic world was shattered. From the abyss comes evil demons, pouring into the land and disrupting the wonderful roleplay with lag and noobishness!
Our world seemed lost...until new champions were found. From the ashes came Clovis, Krilari, Drumgar, and Mochla. Forward they ran to do battle with the darkness. The epic battle took several days without pause, as these four champions slew demon after demon. When all seemed lost, these four saved our world! The green of their names is representative of the tainted blood they spilled this day!
Three cheers for our new champions!
(Everyone congratulate ChampionMouse, Clovis, dannyhero, and Krilari, our four new Trial GMs!)
