I saw in the Lore board about IC prices for certain things, like Castles or Ships.
I was wondering how exactly this could be utilized on the server? Such as if I wanted to buy a ship, would I need to raise the amount of gold listed as the cost, and then discard it in some fashion and from then on I could claim to be owner of that particular ship?

You can say that one of the ships docked in say, Stormwind Harbor is yours and RP there and everything, but GMs don't enforce property being owned by a player. So if you're away and someone is RPing on the same boat that you were before and you come back, you cannot say "Hey get off my ship!" or whatever it may be. This goes for houses, etc. etc. You just have to learn to share and wait your turn, should the situation come up. <nod>

Thanks. I wasn't sure what the proprieties of the situation were.
I had already planned of using the IG ships for that sort of RP. Though the ones used for area transition are a bit painful, with the load screen continually popping up.
I will keep this stuff in mind though, while I gear up information for the guild I want to start up.
I have lots of ideas, and hopefully it'll be a success.
