Would it be possible to boost the rate at which Professions level? It's slightly aggrivating to be able to level faster than normal, but when I want to level my herbalism, I have to go back and spend a chunk of time in those other areas anyway.

They *are* boosted. The chances of leveling a profession off of a yellow or green recipe/collection attempt are greatly improved compared to Live.
