Diethe's Guide to the Population (Pre-BC)

I have gathered from my e-source books (Mostly from the Lands of Conflict and Lands of Mystery) the population count of most sapient races in Azeroth at during the start of WoW and compiled them all here. Well...1/3rds of Azeroth for now. I will work on the other continents in time. This guide is meant to be a help and a guide to understanding the areas you wish to RP in and to immerse yourself in the lore of the area, which WoW has unfortunately scaled down. Do not go 'WTF why did you do this when we can get it in the sourcebooks or WoWwiki?' as my intention is for the information there to be compiled and stored as a whole here. These are of course, estimates by the official source books and in no way do I claim these to be mine. Some of these however, I shall estimate on my own and shall also consider the possibility of mixed races in a settlement. I would love for a critic to correct my mistake in estimation. This was a lot of pain to do, but I don't mind criticism. This list is categorized by faction. Those who are individually independent or free in spirit shall not be included. I shall only include the population of a locality if that locality is ultimately controlled by a faction and would be included in that faction's population count. I will edit in as much factions bit by bit. For now, I shall include only the major factions. I do not wish to be the one bold enough to count Silvermoon's population at this time. Please, do so if you wish.

Man, gnomes are hard to estimate. They aren't on most lists.

Notes:
-24,810 is the number of High Elves that are alive today excluding those from Dalaran, Theramore and presumably the Silver Covenant. These are the 10% of elves who chose not to go with Kael'thas/stay in Silvermoon among the Blood Elves.
-The number of the Scourge that I have written in the Eastern Kingdoms might even be higher than my estimates. The Ashbringer Alexandros Mograine fought with a mere Scourge ambush party numbering 10,000. 10,000 was also the estimated number of Scourge who attacked Light's Hope Chapel, who fought against 300 Argent Dawn champions.
-The low amount of Scourge in several regions of Northrend might mean that the Scourge by the start of World of Warcraft were still recuperating from the battles with Illidan. In fact, the face of Northrend compared to these Northrend Statistics have changed drastically, implicating the dangerous growth of the Scourge when left unchecked.
-Those listed directly under the Burning Legion Category are those demons who have come from different worlds to bring destruction to Azeroth. Be advised when facing them.
