Not much to do here in Sweden today. It's midsummer so everybody is celebrating with their families. Mom and dad are at a wedding so I'm home alone with nothing to do. But it's not like I'm biting my nails cuz' I can't play. I'm playing Resident Evil 5 right now. But still. I tried the US version once, but it couldn't patch right, so that's out of the question, I'm afraid :/

I feel that, and this is just me voiceing my opinion, Kret should indeed wait for the patch up until our EU friends can join us in 3.3.5, because i do believe a good number on the server may be from EU and that may cause some already started RP events havock... But again, just my idea Kret <3

Apparently the enUS patches have been made to work on the enGB ones.. Friend of me found this:

EDIT: Forgot to say that technique is pretty much converting your client to the US version. If you screw up, no amount of repair.exe can save you.
I should mention probably that I have three folders of WoW on my computer, one Retail, one Private for this one, and one to test stuff like this on for the private. :mrgreen:

Yes, it is a good solution, but not everybody has the space on their HDD, to copy such a large game "just in case." I do, and should probably back it up and maybe even try again. But not everybody can and I'm just handing them a warning for a potential re-install.

Using that guide I have managed to get it working fine, and the direactry I used would only be to connect to this server (A US one if im correct) anyway...

Very true, can't expect anyone to simply have enough HDD space.
On the topic of patching: I managed to patch mine from GB to US, and get it working. However, now my sword is green and on fire, and I'm missing two options in my Interface settings, under the "Social" tab. It could be due to that. I'm missing the "Simple Chat" text (I do see the boxes and can use them) and some other one I can't recall.
Anyone else?
Edit: Relogging fixed the sword, just not the interface stuff leading me to believe it's due to the convert, or a bug actually with the new patch.. I think the first though.
