I couldn't follow the link either but I managed to find what you all are talking about, or so I think.

It all does look pretty cool, and there seems to be a lot of new quests that would be pretty damn fun to play through as a Forsaken

Helping an undead Galen Trollbane recover Trol'kalar on behalf of Sylvanas for an example, it might be the same quest from before but it looks a lot more awesome now, hehe.

I'm not sure I like how things are going character developmentwise though, but honestly I never really had much faith in Blizzard on that departement to begin with.

Well I like the new Sylvanas. It shows that she, in my opinion, is being a good leader and ensuring that her race survives.

True, but on the other hand she's been whining about how undeath was (is?) a terrible curse and an "unending torment", one could even say that most of her character is based on her hatred for the Lich King/Arthas and the quest for vengeance she's been on since regaining free will. That she now starts spreading her curse on what seems to be a larger scale looks a bit odd to me.

Its odd to me as well but Im thinking Blizzard didnt want to do to her what they did to another vengance seeking maniac who devoted her life to the man she hated. Cant think of her first name, last name Shadowsong I think. Hunted illidan, finally killedhim. Disappeared from Wow.

I personally dislike the entire idea involving Sylvanas Windrunner as it feels like... exactly like they are trying to copy Kerrigan in sense... I also believe someone else earlier said this.

Her story is booring, she is Keriggan in a Wow setting...
But recruiting the Val'kyr is very in-character for the recent Sylvanas. I think that the Foraken will become a main antagonist in the future and we will have another break out faction of undead.

Not thinking her as boring myself, but yes I'd rather see how she's unique, rather than have a WoW version of Kerrigan, though I doubt they're going to change much about it by now, she seemed established as fairly evil and traitorous in Frozen Throne (not unlike some other traitorous woman formerly controlled by a malevolent master that broke free and now wants power :P )

I have to agree that she is not the most interesting of characters anymore. But look at the rest of horde leadership we have in Cata. No name tauren, No name blood elf, A troll whos name I forget, Grom Hellscream wannabe, and a emotionally constipated dead elf.

Cause a company like Blizzard do not ever sink so level as to revert to re-using a character concept that has worked once. I love Kerigan too and it just makes me dislike Sylvanas cause I prefer the original.
