The Sandaxe Company
#1
History

The Sandaxe Company was formed by the warrior Rogg Sandaxe, after of being discharged from the Horde's vast armies for assaulting an officer. Settling down in Ratchet, he easily found work from the goblins, 'heavy lifting', assassinations, extortion, whatever pays the bills. When armies started to march to Northrend, towns became less populated with able-warriors. Rogg saw this as a chance to expand his Company. Recruiting others to his banner, the Sandaxe Company now operates in the entire Barrens, the near-by contested areas surrounding them, and areas around the Goblin ports. Although they are mercenaries, Rogg still has the honor from being apart of the Horde. The Sandaxe Company does not take jobs that involve causes harm to any part of the Horde.

As the armies return to their homeland after slaying the Lich King, many find themselves out of work. Rogg is only too happy to pick them up as members of the Company.

What the Company does...

The Sandaxe Company is mercenary group based around Ratchet and Booty Bay. The Company will take on -any- job or mission that pays well enough for the task. The one type of contracts they do not take are the ones that directly or indirectly attack or hinder the Horde (Unless you manage to trick them otherwise). We do accept contracts, like killing, stealing, spying, protecting, smuggling, etc. The Company is overall mostly muscle-for-hire.

The Sandaxe Company can work for the Alliance, or members directly involved with the Alliance, even though the Company is a more Horde-geared group, as they do accept Alliance races into their ranks.

Note: Members of the Sandaxe Company can freelance as their will, but in order to get the whole Company involved, you must speak with Rogg Sandaxe or a Lieutenant.

The Structure

Captain

The Captain is in charge of the entire Sandaxe Company. His word is law. The Captain's job is to make sure that the Company is getting work in and being paid handsomely. He is not limited to go on assignments. He can sign people onto the Company as he wills.

Lieutenant

The Captain's Lieutenants are his tight knit Circle of Command. They are in charge of overseeing the day to day operations. They are also in command of most assignments if the Captain is not around. They may also handle recruitment as needed. They also are able to accept assignments from clients.

The Sand Guard

The Sand Guard are the elite warriors of the Company. They have proved their worth ten fold. They are assigned on the most dangerous missions and jobs. Also, they protect the Captain when needed. They are known for their brutality to their enemies. They also command assignments when the Captain or his Lieutenants are not around.

Enforcer

The Enforcers are the muscle of the Company. They have been with the Company for some time, and they have shown their loyalty to it. Enforcers take on the challenge of harder assignments that might take them across the world. They cannot do an assignment unless ordered to by the Circle of Command.

Grunt

Grunts are members of the Company who have completed a job. Grunts make up most of the Company, as they take on lower assigned missions, but may accompany other higher ranked members on their assignments. When promoted to Grunt, they are given the Company's Tabard, as a sign of good faith.

Thug

These are new members to the Company, fresh meat. They are kept at this rank until they have completed an assignment. These freelancers are expendable, as they are not yet officially part of the Company.

Recruitment

The way the Sandaxe Company recruits it's members is by a private chat with the Captain or one of his Lieutenants. In order to do this, either mail a letter IC to meet them, OOC talk to them to get their attention, or post on the thread here. Then we'll have to set up a meeting place (Most likely Ratchet) and have an interview. The thing that seals the deal, is by a handshake.

All classes are welcomed, but Warlocks are only allowed if you don't show that your one, meaning not using Demon pets around us, using only fire spells when around others, etc.

Rolling System

We use the roll 100 system, as it works best for the crowd. Critical hits are allowed, counters are not.

Note: I do need a GM to approve of this guild's connections with Ratchet, as a GM IG explained that I needed approval.

Update:
Added "What the Company does..."
Changed rolling system to an easier one.
Cleaned it up a bit.

I still require a GM to approve of the Sandaxe Company's direct involvement and partnership with Ratchet, as I was informed of this IG before the restart.

Rogg has decided to close the Company, and follow a path that'll bring more glory to the Horde.
