I got an absolute zero...
Though I'm very sure if I didn't consider most of the Blood Elf traits as natural (per the instructions) then it would be around 10-15.

-4 with the de-suifier. Which asked very obvious and stereotypical questions.

This got me imagining what it would be like if Mary-Sues were the norm. Thus, characters scoring 0-16 were just 'meh', and if you tried to hard when making a Mary-Sue (like most good role players do for giggles) then you get flamed for it.

It'd be hilarious.

Edit: Hey Cressy, we're nonSue buddies!

Keep in mind that it's not the individual characteristics that would make an individual a Mary Sue, but a compilation of a lot of them. While it is very possible that a Mary Sue or Gary Stu knows a lot of languages or has lost a child in the past, the same could be said of other normal characters. It's when you add a lot of these things together that the larger picture comes into focus!

Tried two characters.
Minus eight and minus four.

Jared got a three before de-Suification, which brought him down to a minus five. I guess being raised in a dirt-poor family, losing his new family to the Plague, and Gutterspeak not being his first language makes him a little bit Suish, while being ugly, petty and self-serving, etc. counters that a fair bit. :P

I have a WoW-specific Mary Sue tester that you guys can take if you like. Might want to link it in the first post if ya think it's any good.

The World of Warcraft Mary Sue Litmus Test

Ol' Dancer got -6 in that.

Wierd...

Scores for three planned out characters are:
26 (Oops)
21
5
Counting de-sue-ers.

After taking the WoW link above, my 26 turned into a 5, and I'm pretty sure I didn't change anything.
?? I think though that the 26 turned 5 should be a bit higher. Kinda sue-ish.
Fallen to the Darkness,
lost to the Light,
she wanders alone,
in places of astounding height,
once a Champion,
of Life, of Love,
now only Hateful,
the Defiled and Murdered Dove

... Malth got a 28 when desued.

I blame his epicness and Death Knight-ishness.
Jeneal jumps into the water. "HAHAHAHAHA!" She turns into a seal.

On the WoW test, Mokaku got 8. There's no desue option yet it says you can get negatives. What?

They sneak in de-Sue questions. I scrolled through again really quickly and saw these questions that probably add negatives (at least one of them):
  • Has the character ever been pregnant during a storyline? (+1)
    • And you played it out? (+1)
    • And she angsted over what to do with the baby/almost lost the baby/had other such baby drama? (+1)
    • And it took nine months? (-2)

While the angst is fairly common of people who want their characters to be pregnant, while most play out the pregnancy they rarely go the full nine months.

You can look at the source code to see the values of each of the questions. Other ones that result in negative values were:
  • Does it detract from the character's overall attractiveness?
  • Is this something that has changed or will change over the course of the storyline?
  • Is the character ugly?
  • Is the character overweight?
  • Is the character old by the standards of his or her race?
  • ... and it IS the character's fault?
  • Did the character never get his or her memory back?
  • Has the character ever freely, willingly and knowingly worked for an evil regime?
  • Does the character fail to successfully get revenge?
  • Is the character a hunter?
  • Is the character significantly mentally handicapped?
  • Blah blah blah
