1.0 - Introduction
The Ebon Blade has taken up arms against the Scourge ever since the Lich King betrayed them, Mograine swearing to deliver vengeance alongside Fordring. They have done so, destroying the forces of The Scourge in the Plaguelands, Tirisfal and their base of operations, Northrend.

With the eventual defeat of the Lich King, the Scourge sfill remains, driven not by the will of the Lich King, but now by carnality and brutality. Azeroth is being plagued by war between the Alliance and Horde, disregarding the still-real threat.

1.1 - What Now?
The Ebon Offensive, lead by Malth Valarl, has answered the call of those remaining in Northrend, ex-Scourge forces overpowering brave soldiers of both Alliance and Horde. The Offensive is driven by one very clear, very real truth: "There will always be conflict, it's just a matter of where and when it is present. And that's why we exist - to clean up after the conflict."

2.0 - Guild Overview
The Ebon Offensive exists as previously mentioned, for the sole purpose of defeating those who threaten Azeroth, regardless of their standing - that being the remaining Scourge at present. As the Ebon Offensive is a branch of the Ebon Blade, only Death Knights will be accepted to fight officially under their flag, however, others can help as they wish.

2.1 - Goals
The Ebon Offensive plans to bring about peace to Northrend, and secure it's lands not as Ebon Blade territory, but as free territory for hunters, explorers and adventurers. They also plan on trying to combat any other evils within Northrend, Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms that attempt to disrupt peace in Azeroth. Since the Ebon Blade remains neutral, as does the Offensive, they also try to stop wars with their words. If that doesn't work, they use swords.

2.2 - Dragonblight Campaign
The Dragonblight Campaign is a series of events planned by myself and a possibly a few others, centered around a single plotline.
Malth Wrote:Three ex-Scourge Warlords are fighting for dominance over Dragonblight, after becoming independent following the Lich King's death. The three consist of a Lich, a Death Knight and a Necromancer, all of which control their own armies. The Death Knight, however, is the one tough challenge we face. A massive Tauren, scaling at over 8 feet tall, commands his own personal legion of undead and Death Knights much like ourselves. The Lich and Necromancer control hordes of ghouls and skeletal warriors each. It is our job to show them that we, the Ebon Offensive, can destroy them utterly.

2.3 - Alliances
In the eyes of the Ebon Offensive, they are in an Alliance with nobody bar the Ebon Blade, and in turn, the Argent Crusade. Seeing as both Horde and Alliance have brought great destruction to Azeroth, neither of them can be considered allies due to their "destructive tendencies". The Ebon Offensive, however, can and does make agreements with independent groups focusing on the eradication of Scourge and Fel.

2.4 - Neutrality
As explained in the previous paragraph, the Ebon Offensive is effectively mainly neutral, focusing more on their own goals than those of other groups. This doesn't necessarily mean that they won't aid another group however. They just won't aid said group if they got themselves into the trouble.

3.0 - Guild Ranking
As with all groups, there are levels of hierarchy and ranking to maintain order within itself. The Ebon Offensive is no different, of course. Here is an overview of the guild rankings.

3.1 - Ranking Introduction
Within the Ebon Offensive, there is a single leader dubbed the Warmaster. Beneath himself in the hierarchical scale are the four Death Riders, who command their own personal squads, as does the Warmaster. Beneath them are the footmen and casters of the Ebon Offensive, who are under command of a Death Rider, or the Warmaster himself. Initiates are trained by the Death Riders, who teach the Initates the ways of the Ebon Offensive, and further their abilities.

3.2 - Ranks
i) - Warmaster
The Warmaster is the leader of the Ebon Offensive, who makes most of the warfare and political decisions. The role can only be filled by one person. If a Warmaster must be chosen due to disappearance/death of the former, it is decided via means of a vote carried out by the other Death Riders and the Footmen and Casters. The Warmaster him/herself takes part in campaigns, fighting alongside Death Riders, Footmen and Casters.
Currently filled by: Malth

ii) - Death Rider
Death Riders are the "Elite" of the Ebon Offensive, proving themselves via means of great effort, battle prowess or casting aptitude. They are rewarded for such things, and are given their own personal squadron to command, consisting of up to 5 people. As their name suggests, they are trained in mounted combat, to slay enemies atop their Deathchargers. Death Riders are chosen specifically by the Warmaster for feats of strength.
There can only be a maximum of 4 Death Riders.
Currently filled by: Kraven, Mogen, Vicky, Lenore

iii) - Footmen
Footsoldiers of the Ebon Offensive. These are the Death Knights who strike from the front line, and are the bulk of the army. Casters are the behind-the-lines members of the Ebon Offensive, who destroy their targets with Blood, Unholy and Frost runic powers. Casters are also encouraged to learn some Unholy powers to heal their comrades mid-battle.
Current Footmen: None.
Current Casters: None.

iv) - Initiates
Initiates are the members-in-training, who're trained directly by the Death Riders. Because the Death Riders also require their own time to do otherwise, there can only be a maximum of four Initiates at any one time.
Currently filled by: None.

4.0 - Guild Rules
Every good, functioning guild has rules, both IC and OOC. Most of these are server rules repeated, but it doesn't hurt to reiterate.

4.1 - In-Character
Here are the list of rules which Death Riders are required to recite to Initiates until the Initiates are able to repeat them from memory.
Malth Wrote:
1. One must not betray the Offensive, under pain of torture for seven days and nights, followed by exile and stripping down of armour and Runeblade.

2. The Offensive shall make no barters with those who try to buy our allegiances. Accepting such is considered cowardly and idiotic.

3. Killing a member of the Offensive unjustly shall result in seven days and nights of torture for the offender, followed by death.

4. Do not disobey the command of a Death Rider or Warmaster. Doing so may end in removal from the Offensive.

4.2 - Out-Of-Character
Read Here.

4.3 - Consequences Of Breaking The Rules (IC and OOC)
IC - As stated by each occurance in section 4.1
OOC - Whatever Kretol and the other GMs see fit. I do also promote the reporting of breaking server Rules to GMs/Administrators, and this just doesn't apply to the guild.

5.0 - Joining
To join, simply PM Malth, or one of the previously mentioned Death Riders in-game or on the forums, and request an IC interview. We're always looking for more Death Knights to join our cause!

6.0 - Afterword
I thank you for reading this post, and I hope you consider either joining, or supplying some sort of constructive criticism within this thread.

6.1 - Conclusion
Death Knights are awesome. In the words of CotH's own mouse, "Less than threeeeeee!"
Jeneal jumps into the water. "HAHAHAHAHA!" She turns into a seal.

The Campaigns

The tomes and scrolls of the mystic Ebon Knight known as Mogen Chandos hold many secrets, from arcane studies and experiments on the undead body, to more dangerous sources of magic. However, the wise member of the newly formed Ebon Offensive also keep in his small library strategic maps, locations and treatises on the continent of Northrend, some of which hold valuable information pertaining to the tactics of the Order, specifically of their satellite group.

Also, done my lord. Sorry for double post, yo.

Skull represents the broken Frostmourne (The hilt).
Gem represents unholy, being the soul of the Ebon Knight.
Cup of Blood represents blood, resembling Diablo's.
Frost is represented by that thing glowing inside the skull and over the head.
