"We beg for sweet release..."

Both Goldshire and Booty Bay witnessed the haunting of Wilson today. Two civillians died in each location.

In Booty Bay, the image of a normal man flickered in an out of existence. Interrupting the Goblin town came a gust of wind, and doors and windows slammed repeatedly. Players saw the image of a tortured man with a sailor captain's uniform. In the wind, the screams of tortured citizens, blood spilling with the voice of laugher could be heard in the midsts of everything. Eventually, all over the Bay were ghostly figures of citizens fleeing. What they were fleeing from was not revealed. Once the commotion was over, suddenly a woman collapsed and then a body floated to the surface of the water. On both bodies were the words "We beg for sweet release...", etched in with some sort of torture tool.

In Goldshire, something similar happened. Disturbing visions were mainly seen in the tavern. Once the screams were silenced, a ghostly captain hung in the center of the room with rope, but there were no gallows. He had endured many hours of torture and he was barely in one piece. In his torso, were the same pleas that the bodies had in Booty Bay. In the middle of Goldshire, two people literally fell apart. Their heads rolled off the shoulders, their arms fell off and their legs toppled over. Once their torsos landed onto the cobblestone, they split into two. These were perfectly healthy people.

Panic from distressed citizens is now the main thing in Goldshire. Stormwind would have heard of these hauntings. In Booty Bay, things are slowly coming back to normal, but what they saw will never be erased from their memories.

Where will the next place be where the wrath of Wilson sows terror?

Only time will tell...

More horror fell before the lands of Azeroth.

Booty Bay and the Cathedral Square had people randomly falling dead by the masses. Some of them returned looking as if they had gone to a completely different place, the rest remained in a bloody heap on the floor. They beg for sweet release...

In the Cathedral Square, for the first time, Wilson appeared for more than just mere moments. He was seen walking straight to the altar in the Cathedral of Light, collapsing onto it and sobbing loudly before fading once more.

The orphanage was butchered, more citizens were falling over dead by the dozens. The whole city is in uproar and many are trying to find what this being wants so that he can finally be put to rest. Most of the city is frightened and nervous, a lot of them have fled the city whilst the military try and sort out the mess. The bells of the church crashed into the square, but somehow, none were wounded. Save for the bellringer. Belongings of Wilson Ford were also found, and are one step closer to solving the mystery.

And now, RATCHET.

Hundreds of bodies are being cleared up. Everyone is on high alert and very cautious. Some have fled the city, some wish to wait it out... The town felt the standard chill up their spine when the wind blew into the scene. As bodies began to collapse, ghosts began fleeing from a mysterious entity that wasn't revealsed. Some players began to feel the pain on a minor scale that they did. Some were trying to get their hearts ripped out, or their minds stabbed with a hot poker.

After a pause, it began to rain blood... Doom seems to be the only thing in people's minds. Before he finally dissapeared, he would salute the sea and then walk towards the pier. Someone called out to him it seemed. He shook their hands, and then kissed the forehead of, one could assume, an infant. A voice was heard that said their farewell to Wilson...

Your menace now has a name.

Booty Bay found themselves visited once more by Wilson Ford. When he came, the wind blew through the tavern and sent both citizens and furniture flying around the place, being airbourne from the gusts of wind. Citizens felt themselves being tortured, but this was only for mere moments and Wilson left shortly afterwards.

Stormwind, for the first time, actually managed to see a glimpse of mercy from Wilson Ford.

He came in at first, just playing the guitar for mere moments with accelerating speed. He soon morphed into a more tormented vision and began to cause a storm in the middle of the city. Those who fled or attemped to hide or even face him, felt pain that stopped them from acting. When the storm passed, sheets of parchment fell from the sky. They were incredibly old, however, and barely readable, but those who inspected them could just about make out dates, letters and maps. As if it didn't get any stranger, a Stormwind Guard coughed up some sort of strange amulet... when people touched it, they would be afflicted with horrific visions and they would then carry the burden of the tortured until Wilson Ford was relased.

When a man dared to pick it up for a second time, he collapsed onto the floor, but he saw another vision - he saw Hillsbrad. He woke up shortly after hearing the deafening roar of an Abomination, but nothing else seemed to occur. Wilson came once more and snatched the amulet out of the player's hands. The blood that wouldn't seem to be moveable had now faded. Those who were deceased and were immune to rotting woke up looking scared, but they were back. Stormwind is slowly going back to it's former state, save for the debris of signs, doors, rooftiles and trees strewn about after the storm. Before he left, he told them he would come again...

But will he bring his mercy? Or his wrath?
