I'd just like to clarify that I wasn't trying to bash the Elves at all. I was just making light of the Belf-Bashing; This is coming from a person who's spent a good twenty-five to fifty percent of their time RPing as a Blood Elf in the past month or so.

Well, TBH, I love the Blood Elf race to death. Kael'thas is my hero, I think he should've summoned Kil'jaeden, and players would have to choose to serve or die. Then we have WotLK and Kael'thas has the killing blow on LK, simply because he's a boss.


With that put aside, I am -very- critical about BE's and how they play, I'm sure some of you heard my rants. Note, that it isn't meant to be personal and I hate you and all your characters, I just hold a firm belief on how BE's should be RP, and not be total derps. Tired of seeing peeps bash 'em elves because a few don't know how to play them, and judge the entire group that plays them on that. Tbh, I want to make another BE but when I hear "Oh no, half the server is BE" , it turns me off pretty fast. I only own one Blood Elf, and he was made pre-restart.


Since if I went into more detail on here, it would start a flame war, so I'll just leave it at that. If you wanna rant with/bash me, just do it on a PM or somewhere. :3

I RP a Blood Elf myself and i have fun with it.
I dont see the big deal of having one honestly.
Its a personal choice that should be respected.
But thats just my opinion.

I would find these funny, if it wasn't for when I logged on GM island with one of my blood elves, and was flamed for playing one. Apparantly, I should go make my character another race because we have too many blood elves, AND whatnot.

...Now, Roxas, from what I know, Joke threads belong in Off Topic, whereas the General Discussion forum is for serious discussin'. But hey, that's my opinion.

But to be honest, I agree with Bounty and Xigo on the first page. I wonder if people would laugh if we started making out Orcs as mindless slaughterhouses or such. If you really wanna point out an overplayed race, point at Humans.

There are nearly double the amount of Human chars on CoTH than the number of BElves. So, yeah. Food for thought...

I myself have like... five NElves, one Draenei, and all the rest of my chars are BElves. I love the race, I love the Lore, I love the looks of them, the sheer amount if variation the race has, and the many ways it can go. From the Demon-slaving 'Lock, to the pure and holy Pally, to the leafy Hunter or arrogant Arcanist. Once more, this is an opinionated little post, but they simply bring me the most amount of entertainment and I enjoy RP-ing them the most as a race.

They're just that fun.

Then again, I suffer from Character-Creation-itis...
