For the lazy among us, this torrent will give you an already installed copy of WoW with tBC and WotLK patched to 3.3.5a, so all you need to do is download, edit realmlist and then play!

What if you are from Europe? You will get the US version installed then?

It doesn't matter what version you install (unless you want a different language, say German) so enUS or enUK are the same, I think you can even change your "version" by editing the name of a file or two. Ultimately it isn't really necessary though, unless you plan to play on Retail in which case you might need to have enUK to play on the EU servers. Though I think even then you just need to have the enUK realmlist right.

I've got to 3.3.3a but it refuses to patch any further. How do I fix it?

Nostra! You made my entire thread obsolete.
But that's so much easier.
Much appreciated, editing that into the OP.

Right I've started downloading the torrent from that site. It's saying that it will take about 8 years, is that normal?

...Heh.
Normal for a torrent that doesn't have any seeds, I suppose.
You may be better off repatching the 3.3.3 version. If it keeps giving you error messages, start over from WotLK. That's the only way it'll work.

How do I get rid of WotLK?
I'm new to this stuff can you tell?

Depends on your download rates, the amount of seeders at the moment, the amount of leechers and what else you're doing on the computer. It took me about an hour to get that specific torrent, and I got decent download rate, though I left my computer alonE during that time. if you only have that torrent downloading and your internet isn't too bad it shouldn't take more than a 3-4 hours.

Thank you man, this should be a big help when it's done (In awhile). Hopefully I can finally log on tomorrow. Not lazy, but the patcher was being dumb.

EDIT: Mine started at several years as well, but it's gone down to a few days, hopefully it continues to drop.

EDIT 2: And after several days it finally finished, I shall be on soon.

Trying to install WoW to a Mac, but the installer provided here doesn't work. It keeps crashing unexpectedly. I am disappoint.

Would the torrent iso work for the Mac as well? I couldn't find a proper Mac iso torrent, even on Demonoid.

I don't think it would work, no. I'll see if I can find one though.

Edit: No luck. : /
