Getting back into RP

Well I did find myself to find RP on CotH a bit redundant. As much as I would RP with my main character, he would never end up doing something in favor of 'his' developement. After the restart most people that had a major impact on his life In-game simply retconed almost or everything. This is mainly why I didn't merge my character and simply took a long break. Work also took some of my time away but I could have played anyways.

The hardest thing from my point of view is to achieve one single goal, like if you create a warlock while having in mind of him becoming a Fel-sworn ... well you've got yourself an hard deal in front of you, not impossible... but hard.

Seizael always has been my favorite character and also... my first one. At first I played him as a simple Paladin... but back then my english and my knowledge of RP was... well... not so good. But I've been trough so much with Seizael, but his goals kept changing as much as he would advance and interact with others. He used to wield the light and now he seeks to understand the dark energies that is "Fel". So yea... I didn't even recton stuff from his past and stuff, I only added some stuff to sho how much he evolved ever since he started living.

I do remember RPing really briefly with Saif, but just the idea of an exotic character caught my attention. I remember playing with a character named Najib... he to had some exotic traits and I enjoyed RPing with him a lot when Seizael still was a pally. So I'm sure I would enjoy RPing with you even though Seizael doesn't wield the light anymore, and I'm sure I would enjoy RPing with any of your characters because I simply love RP. I know what it's like to lose inspiration... but it's just something you cannot rush. Just like music and arts, Roleplaying is an art. It's an expansion of your own mind into a fantasy world... it's simply amazing, but you cannot force it. Do take a break if you need to, but I hope to see you back on your feet and throwing some epic RP out !

Like someone else said, try to make silly characters - or make a concept that noone else has made before. It doesn't have to make their personality totally wicked or odd, or making them incredibly strong - just making something different. I actually made a gnome pirate, who is a ranged weapon maker, has some extra fat and drinks the most odd stuff.

Interesting personalities leads to interesting RP.
