Cant log in

Bleh, lost connection. Anyway, I was able to remotely connect to restart the program.

Anyway, was anyone in an instance when it crashed? I'm seeing mention of a boss script in the crash log. Considering how obscure the crash seems to be (it had been running for over a day before it crashed three times in a row yesterday), it seems it could indeed be an instance bug.

I might just be a little paranoid, but I'm starting to think I'm the one who keeps crashing it. I swear it crashes -right- when I log onto Kimee, but I promise I'm not doing anything at all... I just log in, hardly have enough time to whisper greetings to whoever might be online, and then nothing. QQ

She's flying over Borean Tundra on her Frostwyrm mount, OOCly of course, at the time of the crashes if that helps any.

I logged onto Nexi instead and everything's fine, I also summoned Kimee to GMI and it hasn't crashed yet. Coincidence? Maybe... <.<

Instance you say? Well then, Kretol. If it crashes when in an instance, wouldn't that mean the person in this instance would be trapped there? Wouldn't that mean that whenever s/he logs on, he will still be in the instance and cause the server to crash? Might this be causing the seemingly random and repeated crashes?

daking, please calm yourself! WoW is not so important, and you can rest assured that it's only been the past couple of days that the server has been so unstable. Over the lifetime of the server (which has been over 3 years), it's only been a few times that it's been unstable over the span of a few days.

At any rate, I can't actually do anything about finding out what the problem is until I get home. Also, I'll need people to spread the word to stay out of instances for the moment. A certain one may be causing the crash.

Sadly, the server crash bug has hit again.

This is extremely inconvenient, but we have a couple of options. Once I get home, I'll check the crash logs and see if I can ascertain any further details behind the crash. In the meantime, I'll see about remotely starting it up once more.

Forgot to mention - the other option is to revert back a couple of days to the backup I made before the revision update (the update involved some character DB changes).

It is not dead, merely undergoing some issues, I'm on my ps3 till CotH is stable. I just texted this, everyone relax, things will be under control, if it bothers you so much do something else like me. Check back to see if there is any news and chill.
