Jungle Fever
I'd imagine hunters get more savage
Or reclusive. It would make sense for the survivalists, at least.
Possibly similar to druids.

I didn't really have much to go off of on hunters either, so I made them crafty lil' bastards running around and flinging traps and such at people giving pursuit. They're probably my best infested victim 'class', if only because they are almost always running away from the fight when engaged.

The first one I did got his arms and legs chopped off. I'm assuming there was a good reason behind it. :B

Oh, Rigley. You should know better than to assume that.

I'm still not entirely clear on whether the people infected with the old strain of the disease can ever be cured. Does the new one overwrite?

Once you're infected by the new one, the old one is invalid. If you somehow avoid infection by the new one while still stuck in the old one... Well. You'll be stuck in it until you die, you're re-infected, or until a cure is eventually found.

/shrug

That's the picture I've gotten, at least.
I've started with my fake business! We are selling cures for the next 16 hours in Booty Bay, after 20 hours you will notice you have been scammed! Ofcource, enraged people would go to the vendors, but they have been tricked into it aswell! A dirty scam!

Feel free to participate to be one of the angry buyers!

What I've heard from Rosencrat is that those with the old plague are immune to the new one, and they still have to die and get rezzed to get rid of it.

Personally, I hope that a cure of some sort gets released. It sucks that you either have to have your character ruined, or suffer the drawbacks of death. It's a lose-lose situation, and it's the sort of thing that was sort of unavoidable earlier in the event, especially if you wanted to get the experience of actually being infected.

Perhaps say that it takes a week to wear off, or that someone manages to develop a bonafide vaccine?
To note, a vaccine of an infection are heat killed or weakened cells for the body to fight off later. Injecting a vaccine in someone already plagued by an infection would, in fact, make it much, much, much worse.

Also, i'm pretty sure we wouldn't just leave characters with the disease forever. ;o

A letter was ICly given to Anna and Navren about a cure. I am just waiting on Rosen to answer a PM about how we're getting it. Event, or just...walk to where it is.

I don't necessarily mean a literal vaccine, just a cure of some sort.

But, good to hear. Therai's desperate to get Sagi cured.
A Cure Has Been Found

A brave group of adventurers has journeyed to the dastardly villain's lab to discover the cure to the disease. Yet, upon the cusp of finding the truth, a barrage of gunfire leveled the ship lab.

Tasked with finding answers, the heroes sought out the Blacklock Marten base. After doing battle with a nasty calculator on steroids they found, captured and murdered the true culprit: Veretta Blacklock.

Case in point: Murdered.

A group of lawyers, having apprehended the body and detonated all evidence of Blacklock Marten's involvement, has spun the evidence back upon the Fel-Sworn Marianna Bisen. They are saying that, in a fit of hysteria, a mob captured and murdered the CEO of the company -who had valiantly fought off demons to retrieve the cure from the lab- as she was preparing to distribute the cure.

A formal wake will be held for the deceased Veretta Blacklock shortly.

Anyways, just saying good job on the event so far. Is really awesome!
