Personally, I wouldn't think that it would be powerful enough to heal someone of a disease, you would need a full user of the Light to do something as strong as that.

Also, bare in mind, there are no symptoms within the first two hours and after then it's too late ^.^

It should. There's a quest where you use it to cure mortal radiation poisoning--bad enough that the people with it can't even stand.

It should rip through a disease in its early stages--a little bit like sandblasting a soup cracker, in fact.

Going around and using Gift of the Naaru on your friends after they were in a battle might make the event a little boring, if anything. After all, at the beginning, no one knows much at all about the disease so they wouldn't even think to try to heal someone until people start going insane by it.

Because having permanent insanity inflicted upon your character is fun for everyone!
If someone wants an easy way out of a disease, let them have it.

Somehow knowing exactly how the disease works, and that all open wounds are infected, and having to heal all your friends with a racial that probably has an IC cooldown of something like 20 minutes would be horrible for any person that's not good with spellcasting, like a Warrior or Hunter, energy-wise.

Not at all Fly, you just need to consider some aspects. I had to ask because, well, my draenei character does hang out on BB a lot. Whenever she's hurt, she will use the Gift, but it is limited to three uses for each six hour (after using three charges, have to wait six hours for it to reload). It's actually more a matter of IC luck to see if she would be lucky enough to not be hurt after the charges are all used, that's why I had to ask this question in particular. ^^

And I had forgot that little part (what noob I am). Thank you for the Enlightenment.

Stratosphere-Transmitted 'Virus'. /nodnod. And in honor of the other diseases one can get from Booty Bay.

This.

I do have a question also - are you under a permanent "Character Warning-like-thing" as long as you are in Booty Bay?
... And, can you get infected outside of Booty Bay, if one baring the "virus" decides to breathe into your face?

I have a question as well; Would a troll's racial ability for quick healing prolong the disease's effects at all? Even if it's by minutes, it would be rather useful to know, since o mainly RP trolls, especially in Booty Bay.

This weekend, since my mom knows I can't go to my gramma's without my computer. My sanity would be on the line. :3

I wouldn't think actual healing abilities would affect the virus at all. Since it's actually a virus and not a wound, healing wouldn't affect it but a spell made to abolish a curse or disease would affect it.
#73
It'd just stop more virus, yea. Healing =/= purifying.

Let's not skip Jurkey's question here people. I'd like to know too.

If in fact that is more or less the case then I have a request. Can we possible use the bar as a bunker of sorts to keep infected out? *school bell rings* Darn... I'll be back in 5 hours....

The bar is a bunker.

And yes, I'm guessing that if you're not in the bar, it'll be a perma character warning.
