Thanks for the help! I guess I should tell Jurkey once he comes online.

Thanks, Gaiaboy.

I am not sure if we can compare willingly passing on to a suicide though. The idea of a suicide is that you willingly threw away your character OOC, this situation from an OOC standpoint feels different, so I'd ask a GM for a second opinion.

How did he die last time?

Hm? How did he die? Well, first death he was stabbed in the chest and neck by small poisoned needles multiple times. Second death, his skull was crushed. And this death was a dagger jammed into his chest after being hit MULTIPLE times by the soul fire thing warlocks can do.

I'm just gonna throw this out there... No where in lore or server policy does it say you become a useless vegetable if you're resurrected three times. I however, tend to keep a character dead after his second Ress, as was the case with one of my characters about nine or so months ago.

EDIT: In fact, according to the RPG books, you're returned to looking (Physically at least) like someone of your race who has just hit adulthood. The only negative effects being a loss of strength, mana, etc. For two weeks.

I know it doesn't actually SAY it, but GMs tend to enforce it. On his second death, a GM warned me about it because I killed some one in a fight when I should've been too weak to fight.

Just ignore Jurke- Your friend. Ya know, he sounds like a nub ;)

Spark you nub. D:

It's too bad Keak. I guess it's your choice after all, and if you don't want to RP as a vegetable, don't. A paralyzed limb is a pretty cool drawback, making him more of a priest than a paladin. The drawbacks I'd make up would be.

Temp:
Immobile.
Unable to speak.
Seizures.

Long-term:
His skin so soft that he can peel it off.
Unable to feel pain.

Permanent:
OCD.
Paranoia.
Nightmares.
Hallucinations.
Fragile body, unable to fight properly.
Needs a cane to walk.
Older looking.
Personality change.
Left-arm paralyzed.

That's...that's some messed up stuff Jurkey. Seizures? Peelable skin? Mute? Even short term, that's some seriously messed up shiz. But meh, if I AM able to rez him. And I suddenly change my mind, I'll probably go with those.

Basically, his body has been underground for months. Forcing a soul back into a body, the body totally not ready for it, -will- mess up alot of stuff.

Quote:There is no limit on how often a character can be resurrected ICly. However, if the character's life is tossed away (the character kills themself, has another murder them, etc.) then there is no resurrection.

After long periods of time it is very, very hard to return a soul to the body in order for a resurrection. In your case, the soul willingly left the body after death and did so happily which makes it only that much harder for the soul to find the body when someone is trying to resurrect the character. It's pretty much on the border of possibly/not possible so I'd suggest you talk to a GM about it afore you plan anything out.

RPG books say you can resurrect someone a hundred years after death with no additional side effects, reagents for the spell, etc. It seems most people don't really accept the RPG books as canon any more though, so meh.

If you've come to like a character, no one but you, the author of this character, has the authority to say what he can/can't do. If you truly wish for him to be alive again, then do so. After all, RP is about creative fun.

Hmm...I'm still undecided. I naturally lean towards "Ressurect him DAMN IT!! You NEED RP to LEEF!" But, I don't know if I WANT to RP him the way he'll be. He's been based around fighting. His JOB practically requires him to fight. A lot of the RP he gets is fighting. It'd require a LOT of personal change for him to be able to NOT fight. But hey, that might be fun.

Intrigue is always fun, I'd say let him live.

Alright, I can't decide so I'll leave this to chance. I'm holding both my hands out, one has live written on it, and the other has dead. First person to pick left or right will chose.
