Bloodlust is defined as "a strong desire for bloodshed." (Quoted from the wiki)
A while back, before reset, I remember when Mowg was chilling with his Orc homies. I recall hearing the Frostwolves were immune to the Bloodlust that affected the Orcs. Yet, lore seems to state otherwise. I this still the general mentality of the server, or was it just the group I was with, or did I miss something in lore?
My reasons they do:
One theme of Lord of the Clans was Thrall fighting to control his bloodlust, and ultimately beating it. He, his parents, and his grandparents were Frostwolves. So if his clan was immune, due to not consuming Mannoroth's blood, why would he suffer from Bloodlust?
If you're the type to ignore the novels for some reason, let's look at Garrosh. Saurfang warned him that if he didn't control himself, the horde would fall down the "Dark Path" again, relating to the bloodlust. Garrosh is a Mag'har, who clearly seems to suffer from the bloodlust.
The Blood Curse, differant from Bloodlust, caused the Frostwolves to turn green through exposure. Similarly, they were mutated, even if they restrained themselves better.
Is this still the mentality, was it the group, or did I miss anything?
I was reminded of this when I was re-touching up on Orc lore.
