Hugging all the cats [Feedback]

I CAST REDEMPTION UPON THY ANCIENT DECOMPOSED FEEDBACK THREAD because I can't find a more recent one.

So, Reigen, the character. I don't RP with her much, but this is what I've gathered off her from our handful of brief encounters:

She is difficult as -hell- to approach, to the point where I wonder how -anyone- besides existing family members want to socialize around her. That's not to say standoffish characters are bad: they create conflict and that's fun, but Reigen's unapproachability doesn't foster role play: it inhibits it. She doesn't create a situation where I want to confront the character, but rather avoid her. When Gantrithor dropped in on the RP in Hellfire with Geoni's orc and Grakor's DK, she didn't really acknowledge Gantrithor in any way, and when the evil spirit left, she promptly got back to walking with only a "good bye random Draenei" coming Gantrithor's way. In a way, it just felt like you didn't want to RP with him/me. She could have been confrontational, even aggressive, could have told Gantrithor to go away or not to follow them, but nope. Just a "yeah thanks bye" and that was it- he didn't even get the chance to emote back to her.

She's very rude to everyone, except for those who are already her friends. Furthermore, I really dislike how almost all her her snark seems to stem from shallow, meta reasons. With Balshar she made fun of his red clothing, even though 90% of any blood elf wears gaudy red clothing. Every time he made a counter-contest to her snark, she had something to say back to him, when I really didn't want to have a dagger-throwing RP to begin with. Nevermind that Balshar is a blood mage, which while not automatically deserving of respect, seems to a class with enough social standing to at least be respected for what they do. Blood Mages are few and far between and were among Kael'thas's best wizards when fighting the Scourge, and all Reigen has to say is make fun of his clothes? It seems unbecoming.

Lastly, I was kind of frustrated at how defensive you got over Balshar overhearing Reigen's murmurings to Krilari. I know speaking in [Low] is meant to be within a personal distance, but Balshar was literally five feet in front of them both- never mind he has giant elf ears. To boot, isn't the rule about private conversations "If you use a public channel, it can be overheard"? I wasn't trying to be metagame-y, but if you don't want people catching wind of what you say behind their backs, you should use /Whisper. Besides, what else was Balshar to do, keep his back turned while Reigen and Krilari snickered away quietly behind his back? That isn't very inviting role play imo.

So yeah, talk all that for what you will, I suppose. I'd like to see you RP other characters- I know you have an orc and a draenei, but besides Reigen the only character I see you on is Scarlett.
