Probably something the Scryers would get involved in, if you'd have them.

Beltharean Wrote:I'm just wondering, since I'll be using a ranged character. What's the benefit? At this point, I'm more likely to have my Ranger rush into combat with his swords, so he can do more damage in the end, than if he was using his bow. Will the NPCs take longer to reach a ranged fighter, or is it just a fighting style which puts the player at a disadvantage?

Also, will there be any sort of disadvantage to mail and plate wearers? It seems that the best character would be a Paladin with a two hander, because they have a large sum of HP, and high damage output, while a mage has... Well, almost nothing going for them. Their damage isn't higher than that of the Paladin's, and they'll be dying much faster.

Ah, feedback. Excellent.

First off, I'd been thinking about this for a bit. Priests have the advantage that they can heal, and Magi that they can Netherwind.

But ranged chars are a doozy. However, I'm thinking that it should fall under Massive Criticals rules for Guns(3x Crits) and Dual Wield(1+1/2) rules for Arrows.

As for magic casters that don't want to risk having demons pop out... They're a little difficult. But Arcane as a whole implies that you're taking risks, using a corruptive force...

Sound good?

We'd most likely enjoy having them over... provided they can cooperate.

We'll probably have to leave all the warlocks behind, but other than that, it shouldn't be a problem.

Quote:~Mail: 7 HP (Do note, that mail bikini will not be treated as real mail armor, instead gaining only the HP benefits of Cloth. Demons aren't stupid. They can and will attack the most vulnerable parts of a person's body, and will not be distracted by your +5 Thong of Shielding.)
I lol'd. Punish the bikini mail.

Vath would get involved, as an ally it seems since his ties are mostly towards the Scryers.

But what if they're succubi?

Anyhow, Vianna's in. But you probably knew that already. You should give Laranor a cameo appearance too. People'd love him. /sagenod.

Does the guild accept Doom Guards?

A certain mute Night Elf will be lurkin' in your shadows, avoiding your social gatherings.

A certain large Draenei inclined to shoot things will be causing large amounts of noise, disrupting your social gatherings.

This sounds like something Terant should be in.

Wow. Abby was mentioned. *surprised* Too bad she's kinda crazy, or she might've gone into this. She might peek in once or twice. However, I have another char I've been thinking of something to do with. You guys don't happen to need a smith/gunsmith and overall merchant? She can hold her own in battle, but it's not her focus so to speak.

The proper answer for both is 'Purge!', as far as I know. Anyhow, they both fall under fel-taint rule.

As for the Laranor part?... I'll consider it. Seeing as he's been exiled from Shattrath of all places, that may be an issue.

The Mute Night Elf should avoid rolling 3s, and he'll be fine with us.

As for the Draenei, the gun may end up competing with Thaura's voice.

'Twould be nice. /nodnod.

'Course she was mentioned. Now, who you happen to bring over is your choice. As for the smith/gunsmith that may be quite a good idea. If she's familliar with Outland, we maaaay just need someone that has nothing better to do than act as a liaison with the Consortium for example, for simple base resource trade.

Do you remember that one Fel-guard that just didn't die and that deserved a promotion? He got it... /cackle. Oh boy, did he get it...

Glad you like it. OP updated accordingly, in case the rest haven't noticed.

How. . . Disturbing.

Anyways, I had a question as well. Let's say I have a char with a rifle, she'd have the same features a a 2H weapon. But what if an enemy goes in melee range and your char hits him across the face with the butt of the rifle? Still the same bonus?

Yes. Let's just hope he's not as lucky as he used to be.

And indeed. Most rifles are sturdy enough that they can indeed use that bonus. /nodnod.
