The Crimson Templar

"All our forms were created to endure great burdens. It depends on the strength of the spirit to maintain them, though. Stay strong and have faith not only in the Light, but also in yourself."

Background:
The Crimson Templar is an organization comprised of volunteer Blood Knights, and only Blood Knights, united by a single cause under their gatherer Calleda Dawnraven. It is important to know that this is a sub-faction and not a splinter group; each is still expected to be loyal to the Blood Knights and Lady Liadrin. Their primary goal will shift as seen fitting, such as when said goal has been completed or a more important one arises. The current objective will be listed at the bottom of this message.

Their standings on some topics may be mixed, presumably based on the individual personalities that are co-mingling. As an example the level of hostility towards the Alliance could vary. Some may believe that they should be attacked, while others may have a more passive opinion, believing they are not the major threat. Members who have had experiences with the Shattered Sun Offensive will be typically more friendly with the draenei people they have worked with. Also some may still believe that the Light's sole purpose is to be bent to their will while others hold a great reverence for it. Overall these issues do not have a mandated opinion from Calleda, though if a Blood Knight approached her saying they did not want to do away with the Scourge or the Burning Legion she would be skeptical.

Without the numbers of an army these Blood Knights usually carry out smaller operations. There is more to them than simple fighting prowess! A good number examples pertain to tracking down targets, such as runaway Blood Knights or demons. A precise knife may be more effective than a giant blade due to its nonchalant nature. It is for this reason that the Crimson Templar travel from place to place, from Azeroth to Outlands and back, sometimes without much support. As a result each member is raised to become a capable individual, not dependent but merely supported by other members. During times of urgency the Crimson Templar campaign for aid, offering services in return for support.

Ranks:
Ranks are handled differently in this guild. In an effort to not set anyone's rank with the actual Blood Knights I have decided that members will be ranked according to how well Calleda trusts said member. It goes by:

Most Trusted: Calleda is going to trust herself the most out of anyone, is she not?

Highly Trusted: These members are held in a high regard by the leader. They are typically entrusted with management positions to help the flow of the organization. Calleda lets down her professionalism around these people, allowing herself to become more comfortable.

Trusted: Calleda has enough faith in these paladins to entrust them with more important duties. They have proven themselves capable in her eyes, though she still holds her commander role over them.

Neutral: Most of the incoming members are placed here. Calleda has not had enough time to form an opinion on these people, or she has mixed feelings about them. They are usually directed by other, more trusted members, often assigned tasks that are not dire.

Untrusted: Blood Knights that have joined who have offended Calleda are placed here, for whatever reason. They have not been removed just yet and still have a grace period to solve the issue.

Requirements and Joining:
The following IC requirements are relatively unsurprising:
1. Be a Blood Elf
2. Be a Blood Knight
-The key words here are Blood Knight. Regular Blood Elf Paladins and Ex-Blood Knights will find it difficult to earn Calleda's blessing, especially the latter case. Those who are exceptionally skilled or devout in the Light may be exempt, but will be expected to join (or rejoin) the order at some point.

If you meet those simple requirements then you may send a message to any member of the Crimson Templar OOCly. IC Recruitment will most likely be performed by higher standing members of the organization but any member is able to recruit more for their cause. A member who wants to join or has already joined (was not tested beforehand) can expect to be tested. This pertains to not only physical and Light-oriented abilities but also their inner beings too.

Rules:
The rules are relatively simple in terms of OOC. Just follow the server rules. As for IC Rules...

1. Stay loyal to your people, especially the Crimson Templar and the Blood Knights.
2. Follow orders to the last letter.
3. Do not engage enemy targets without provocation or orders.
4. Maintain a pristine public image. This stands even out of uniform.
5. Report findings on major demon or undead occurrences immediately.

Current Main Objective and Base of Operations:
Calleda is currently attempting to assemble her followers at the capital city, specifically in the Blood Knight Headquarters. No further details have been released yet.
What a holy person I am...
