Hammerspace, and it's users.

I was, Uth, simply using Frost and Fire because I had a brain fart as for what to call it. I have no other complaints beyond that. My point, though, was that saying Fel isn't related to Arcane is like... Well, to me, like saying Fel Blood doesn't turn you into a Fel Sworn in copious quantities.

In this, we agree. And it is possible for a warlock to turn back from fel - but it's not a simple process. Fel is much, much more desirable than arcane. To such an extent that most people that actually use it, use it even though they know the risk, simply because of the thrill it causes. It's the metaphorical incarnation of the "best" and "worst" drug, both at the same time. That's why it'd be hard for a warlock to use the spells of a mage - they just don't even bother channeling arcane anymore, because it doesn't satisfy them. Even if it'd be more practical in some cases, it's not worth it.

That said, there are alternative ways for just about anyone, mage or non, use magic, arcane, or whatnot.

It amuses me that apparently we're now referring to "hammerspace" as an actual location and a legitimate RP mechanic.
Have you hugged an orc today?

What Hammerspace actually is.

In my eyes:

John the wizard opens his satchel, and pulls out a staff. The onlookers blink confusedly, as that bag could not possibly held such a large item, yet there it was.

A-OK

John the wizard open's his satchel, before leaping inside to hide from the guards.

Not so OK.

I've always held to the beleif that the magic in warcraft was fairly open to interpretation. Where one human mage might mutter an incantation and wave a wand, one troll mage might dance and chant wildly, to get the same effect. To use hammerspace IC is, in my opinion, open to interpretation in much the same way. The size of the hammerspace you can create and use would be affected purely by how powerfull a user of the arcane you are. So if you are playing the humble mage, you might just keep a staff in your hat, if you are an archmage, you might keep a miniature armory in there.

Be sensible with the use of hammerspace, and I don't think many roleplayers would have a problem with it.
